What color scrubs does your school make you wear for clinicals??

Ours are called "my school name" blue, but I recently learned they are the Landau galaxy blue.

I really like the color! It's better than white, green or that really light blue.

Black scrubs. They would be fine except that the tops have our school name and "BS Student" embroidered above the pocket in big gold block letters. I wish they'd consider having just the school name or shrinking the font a bit. I'm sooo glad we don't have to wear white though.

No scrubs for me either -- white uniform, head to toe. And I do mean head: we have to wear caps! We're the only program that I know of that requires them...

But like others have said, I'm so happy to be in the program, I'll wear whatever they ask.:redpinkhe

Ceil blue top and bottom for when I was in school. School patch on the hand corner. White shoes, no crocs or clogs. The scrub tops color didn't match the bottoms color even though they were from the same company!

They aren't the nice type scrubs. These resemble more of the OR type scrub. They were very thin material, didn't wash well, wrinkeled terribly and just hung off everyone! If I wasn't careful, and tie the draw string so that I really had no circulation below my waist, my pants would "walk" themselves down my hips and below..

I hated them during school and hate them now.

Lucily, I can wear what I want now, funny thing is, I normally wear white pants with a white top that has a subtle color pattern on it. And I totally refuse to get that ceil blue school scrub color.

Ceil Blue which is god awful on my skin tone! Why didn't they think about that?!? I'm not a big fan of it but only three more semester if I make it out! Way to think positive, I know. I will never wear the color after I get out though. yuck, unless of course I am tan.

At my school nursing students wear navy blue top and bottom scrubs. There is a school patch on one arm. We have to have all white shoes and we have to wear a lab coat no shirts under the scrubs. It is really nice because at the hospital I work at we all have to wear navy scrubs anyway so I just use those. I think that we're really lucky to not have to wear white.

I guess I'm lucky we have great uniforms. They look very professional and we get lots of compliments on them. And yes, they are white. I could care less. I only wear them two days out of the week. My uniform is the least of my worries, to be honest.

I hate our White Uniforms! I was so looking forward to actual scrubs!

Because the only difference in white scrubs and white uniforms are about 30 bucks! :angryfire oh and the collar and the whole button down thing, yuck.

We have the school patch sewn on the shoulder.

and on days when we do community stuff we wear tan pants, bule polo shirt with emroidered school logo with ADN nursing student.

Oh and our lab coats which also have the school patch on them.

White shoes, non athletic but need to be appropriate for lots of walking (sounds like athletic shoes to me!)

Oh don't forget our Id badges (one from our school and the other from the hospital), just incase we weren't already identified enough.

-I'm so jealous of all the people who get to wear color!

I'm so jealous of you guys! My school has TAN! I have no idea why they picked such an awful color....

Tan, blue, green, black or plain white would be better than the flat, institutional gray we have to wear! When we were in our Mental Health rotation, we got asked if we worked at the prison every time we went to lunch! Thankfully this is the last semester I have to wear them!:yeah:
