What color scrubs does your school make you wear for clinicals??

Updated:   Published

Ours are called "my school name" blue, but I recently learned they are the Landau galaxy blue.

I really like the color! It's better than white, green or that really light blue.

Purple scrubs. They've changed them from last year, which were Navy. Our patch is white and navy cause they're the ones from last year. It's okay. I'm glad they're not white, but like a few of you have said, we'll do whatever it takes and wearing white is not problem! Just thankful to be a Nursing student at last.

Navy blue scrub bottoms and tops with school's name embroidered on L chest. White shoes and only a white

t-shirt allowed, if we choose to wear a shirt under the scrub top. Overall, not bad but I will never wear a solid navy scrub top again! 8 weeks and counting until graduation! :)

Oh, man. That sounds like something I would do. I am so accident prone. My first actual clinical week is the week of October 20th, so we'll see what happens that day. I am going to be covering myself with 100 napkins when I eat/drink. LOL Mine have to be all white, too.

My CNA tops were white and that's what I did! I was actually pretty surprised I didn't have them covered with spots, but to my surprise I didn't do too bad. I felt strange though. I never wear white because I'm not neat enough. Guess that's the good thing about wearing white - you learn to be super careful about hygeine and your clothes.

Our clinical uniforms are dark purple tops and bottoms. They definately stick out in the hospital enviroment and make us easy to find and identify.:clown:

top-green

bottom-white

Royal blue scrubs for class/labs with white shoes.

Clinicals are another story.....all white. pants, white shoes, white button scrub top with school patch. i feel like an old fashioned milk delivery man ( guess i just gave away my age ).

2% or whole milk anyone?

I'm lucky, my school has navy blue with a small, tasteful patch on the left shoulder. Nursing school is no picnic, but we ALL thank our admin for choosing a great color for our uniforms.

We wear a blue scrub top that is a medium shade of blue, and black scrub pants. Shoes are supposed to be solid black. We also have white lab coats, but we aren't required to wear them. Our patches are embroidered directly on the shirts. I think it looks nicer than the other options, but it makes it harder to replace the scrubs if we gain too much weight or otherwise mess then up.

white bottoms... blue and white top with the school patch.

We are in all white (yuck) with the ugly blue vests. The blue vest is ridiculous and when I was having hot flashes (I'm 41 and in nursing school) it HAD TO GO! I have also gained about 50 lbs since starting school, so the white is particularly attractive (NOT!).

My school makes us wear blue..thank god i would hate to wear solid white.:specs:

White scrub bottoms, royal blue polo shirt with school logo, white shoes

If we choose to wear a lab coat it has to be white with a school patch on the left shoulder
