Ours are called "my school name" blue, but I recently learned they are the Landau galaxy blue.
I really like the color! It's better than white, green or that really light blue.
For class days, khaki scrub pants with navy blue scrub tops (school name embroidered in white). For clinical days, white scrub pants, white socks (no bare leg showing when seated), white shoes, same navy tops as class days. Optional white lab coat with school name embroidered in blue--royal blue, not navy to match the scrub tops (??).
At the facility where I have clinicals this term, RNs and LPNs wear royal blue and/or white. It's nice to be able to find a nurse when you need one in a hurry. The downside is that sometimes non-nursing staff mistake US for nurses since we have white on! I had a phlebotomist asking me all kinds of questions about her daughter this morning, and I felt bad that I couldn't answer them...but then again, 'you should discuss that with her doctor' was probably the best thing to say, even if I did know what she was talking about.

Oh, man. That sounds like something I would do. I am so accident prone. My first actual clinical week is the week of October 20th, so we'll see what happens that day. I am going to be covering myself with 100 napkins when I eat/drink. LOL Mine have to be all white, too. And I have to take my own and have them embroidered (which is $5 per shirt or lab jacket).
