I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

There were a few times in 2015-2016, before he was the nominee, I thought "that's it, he's done".
Obviously, it's my opinion that at times he's taken out of context or is treated more harshly, etc.
But, at other times it truly is baffling.
But you'll vote for him, in spite of the behavior and language and the attempt to break democracy, you'll vote for him.
It's baffling, indeed.

I'd be sympathetic to Trump being taking out of context and being treated more harshly if he wasn't such an awful immature lying cheating person. Trumps treated harshly because of how he is. I do suppose there are times he's taken out of context.
Not to deflect but Obama was immediately treated with a harshness I hadn't seen before to the point of a whole wave against him in the form of the Tea Party (who have now sold their soul) to the point of being considered not Presidential for the color of his suit. I think it now just comes with the territory. You're a candidate, you're going to be treated harshly. Look how crooked lock her up Hillary was treated.
Anyway, to me that when it comes to Biden and Trump it's not baffling to me that people will vote for Trump even if they are appalled by some of his behavior because they feel Biden is worse. The baffling part for me is that Trump is the nominee in the first place.
Quote"I absolutely believe this is intentional, and one of the reasons the Biden administration is allowing all these illegals to flood the country," Mitchell said on a conservative radio show in Illinois last month. "They're taking them into counties across the country, so that they can get those people registered, they can vote them."
Trump has made the same claims on the campaign trail. And even Elon Musk, the Tesla founder and owner of X, has used his social media platform to push the baseless idea to millions of people.
"[Democrats] are importing voters," Musk wrote in a post about undocumented immigrants on March 5 that X claims has been seen more than 23 million times.
It's illegal for noncitizens to vote in federal elections, and numerous studies over the years have found that it almost never happens, but voting experts still worry the claims could take hold at a time when huge numbers of Republicans simultaneously don't trust elections and see immigration as the top problem facing the country.
The false narrative of illegals voting.
In the meantime legal immigrants that are not yet citizens can engage in civic activity such as registering legal citizens to vote in Florida. To me this would be a no-brainer and wonder how it something like that became law...oh wait...it's Florida.
Tweety said:He also said some combination of "I don't know," "I don't recall," "I don't specifically remember," "I have no *** idea" and similar phrases more than 100 times during the deposition.
It's no wonder he said " "sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."
When one reads the DOJ Hur interview of President Biden, the "I Don't Know" responses often refer to PROCESS of how his staff handled documents after he was finished with reading them. Easy read: https://democrats-judiciary.house.gov/uploadedfiles/doj-hjc-hur-0000033-0000191.pdf Per Biden, most of his staff has been with him for 20 years, they did not have to be directed to get work done. They understanding Bidens workflow habits and were versed in handling of government documents. So who culled documents to send to Biden Center, DE ; to Univ of Penn or to federal archives resulted in "I don't know" answers. His staff might come to him and ask what do you want done with A, B, C, D document and he'd tell them but unable to recall specific person performing task.
Biden does not appear to be a micromanager involved in day to day routine but "Big picture" policy, how to get government funding for projects to benefit us and form strong international ties.

Good thing the stores are closed on Sundays.
Unrelated to anything I was watching the Netflix Series "Somebody Feed Phil" about a foodie that travels the world eating good food and meeting people. He featured a show in DC and sat down and had a meal with Pete Buttigieg and Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick from PA. They talked of bipartisanship and working with one another in a civil manner. I thought "how cool is that" that is still alive and well in Washington.
Then I was reminded that not everyone cares about that. Apparently it is an outside vendor, and condemned by republicans, but reminds me of where I live.
It looks like the judge agreed that the defense did not prove that there was conflict of interest requiring the removal of the DA. The trial continues without Mr Wade.
The hack continues to trouble our health system. This isn't surprising when a major payer is hamstrung in a system focused upon payment.
How many smaller health businesses will suffer financially and get bought up by big insurers in the aftermath?
Jim Jordan and House Republicans are showing the country what political a witchhunt looks like in a couple of different areas.
QuoteWillis denied any wrongdoing when the subpoena was first issued in February.
"These false allegations are included in baseless litigation filed by a holdover employee from the previous administration who was terminated for cause. The courts that have ruled found no merit in these claims. We expect the same result in any pending litigation. Any examination of the records of our grant programs will find that they are highly effective and conducted in cooperation with the Department of Justice and in compliance with all Department of Justice requirements,” Willis said in a statement.
The lack of evidence that the funds were, in fact, misused is not a deterrent. That suggests that the agenda is something different than oversight.
