I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.
According to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

No, she thought that was a completely relevant question to ask any/ every Trump supporter because Trump isn't just accused of rape and sexually predatory behavior. Trump has been found civilly liable for the sexual abuse of a woman after telling us his own thinking about interactions with women he finds attractive. Why shouldn't Trump supporters be asked about that, especially those who publicly spoke about their personal trauma of rape from their position as legislator? Can you answer that?
Yes, we are aware that Trump supporters are interested in minimizing or even dismissing the importance of the findings about Trump's sexual misconduct and his defamatory words that followed his sexual misconduct. Pretty much every claim against or indictment of Trump is met with that same type of push back from Trump supporters.

I listened to the House hearing and testimony of special prosecutor Hur today. It was very tedious theater. Hur's report was pretty clear, they can't prosecute Biden because they could likely not convince a jury that crimes were committed. There are a couple reasons that they wouldn't convince a jury;
The preponderance of the evidence is not compelling that a crime was committed.
Biden was a cooperative participant in the investigation.
Biden would be a sympathetic witness.
Much was made about the comments within the report about memory. It's not a mystery why Republicans would use that angle of attack.
There was definitely some comparison of the Mueller investigation, report and testimony before congress. The differences are remarkable for those of us who paid attention to the details.
I only caught a few snippets of the hearing, but it seemed that the Republicans wanted to use this to show that once again, Trump is the victim by being treated so harshly by that mean ol' Jack Smith.

Nevertheless the evidential standard for civil trials is that facts must be "clear and convincing". She won. He lost. Time to let this one go. She might have gotten even more if Trump had not requested a bench trial. Anyone who brags about clutching the crotches of teenage girls already has a problem with sexual boundaries - even with people who are legally still children. They don't call the contest Miss Teen America for nothing.

And, btw this poll illustrates what might happen if we get rid of Electoral College and go with just a popular vote. Imagine if there is a third candidate. People might be more inclined to vote for them, then we potentially end up electing someone that received only a 34% of the vote. It really opens the door for a extreme candidate.

I understand and that's not my point. People are going to vote for Trump over Biden. I get that.
My broken record point that I've stated over and over again and no need to belabor that point, Republicans had ample opportunity to choose someone with maturity, integrity, honesty and someone that believes in Democracy and elections.
That will forever baffle me that they still chose Trump and every now and then he says and does something that has me questioning my reality and I get baffled all over again.
