I came across this is little story today, it's not breaking news. I suspect that a member of the housekeeping staff knows something about the bomb threat that required the sweep for weapons.

QuoteAccording to police in Secaucus, the bomb threat — which later was determined to be bogus — was called in to Hudson Regional Hospital on July 18. During a search, bomb detection dogs led investigators to an unlocked office closet containing dozens of firearms.
Among the weapons were 11 handguns and 27 rifles or shotguns, according to police. The closet also contained a .45 caliber semi-automatic rifle with a high-capacity magazine that was determined to be an assault rifle, and a 14-round high-capacity handgun magazine.
The arrested the guy the next day.
What the heck do you think this guy was doing? It sounds very ominous that he was keeping those weapons there.

What corruption are you talking about? The ony thing that's been established by the defense teams efforts is that two consenting colleagues had a romantic relationship while building the legal case against the defendants. The defendants are trying to prove that the DA lied about the start and ending of the relationship and they are trying to make a case that there was conflict of interest or financial interests, but so far they have more speculation than they have credible evidence. Yes, delaying the trial is the objective.
It sounds like you believe that the DA is going to be disbarred. That's getting just a little bit ahead of the legal proceedings, isn't it? It seems like maybe you've been convinced of something without presentation of evidence. There's no question that Trump's defenses have always included personal attacks and character assassination. He campaigns on name calling, retribution and petty personal disputes. His efforts certainly work to convince some.
You seem unfamiliar with how a grand jury works.
No judge or defense present. Only a prosecutor making a presentation to the members of the jury. In this case, citizens of a county that voted 70 something % for Biden. Then, to get an indictment, only 8 of those 15 need to vote for it.
There is a decades old quote attributed to a NY chief judge of the time. "A prosecutor could persuade a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich."
The conflict of interest is only part of the equation now. If these prosecutors lied in open court, it certainly casts doubt on the integrity of the entire case.
"Gold Star mother Christy Shamblin, whose daughter-in-law Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee was killed in a terrorist attack in Afghanistan, surprised a CNN anchor after saying President Biden has not reached out to her or her family despite her attempts to connect. "

Gee I remember watching Biden meeting with families of service members killed in Kabul as U.S. races to exit Afghanistan prior to receiving the fallen service members killed at the Kabal Airport.
The military says Marine Corps casualty assistance officers have been in direct communication with Sgt. Gee's family and they remain in contact today.

It's unclear what this has to do with Russian propaganda. And, it's doubtful 60 Minutes is trying to confuse people into voting for Trump.
Yes, I understand that the fellow made his remarks on 60 minutes. I didn't say or even imply that 60 minutes is trying to confuse people into voting for Trump. They are balancing. Lots of the balance is stuff like this guys opinion and some of it is based in right wing angst that is fed to the right wing audience and then repeated as concern that we should know about. On the other hand, the media can talk about a mishandled pandemic, lies, an attempt to overthrow our government and 91 indictments, when it comes to Biden we have Russian propaganda passing as Biden corruption, Russian propaganda posing as a hunter Biden laptop issue, and Russian propaganda interfering in federal policy on aid to Ukraine. Plus opinions from people who support Trump. We could talk about the opinion of former Trump cabinet members about Trump's leadership failures and unfitness for office. That seems relevant.

Please enlighten us. Why is the BP chief saying he's never spoken with Biden or Harris considered to be a opinion or "right wing angst"?

No, I understand. The defense gets to present the defense evidence during the trial. THAT'S how it works. The defendant gets indicted based upon the evidence the prosecution has assembled, not based on what the defense attorney says.
How the jurors may have voted is irrelevant to the process. If political affiliation of jury members is a big issue for people like Trump, they should probably only break laws and try to change vote totals in republican strongholds.
Sure. IF. However, the question before the court is was there a conflict of interest or financial in interest involved that would require the DA to be disqualified. The judge will decide that within the next 2 weeks. I didn't think that the defense proved that claim, but the judge will decide.
It certainly cast doubt on the integrity of the case for Trump supporters. That's part of the objective.

Why not? He's feeding the right wing angst with his opinion about what the POTUS or VP didn't do in the past. His opinion is noteworthy but not really important to me.

Biden spoke with them when her body came back home. And, the Marines are in contact with them. So?
Even the CNN woman was expecting a different answer.
It is understandable however, why Biden would not want to speak with them.

Of course not. What is important to you in this presidential cycle is largely not important to me, like that fellow's opinion about something Biden and the VP didn't do.

What is with the constant nit-picking? No one can be everything to everybody at every moment. It's like watching a cat bored to death picking at hairballs instead of chasing mice, I wonder how long it took Fox to find this poor mother and parade her on the network for what purpose?

You've twice now left out mentioning Harris. You know, the border czar?
And the BP didn't mention visit. He didn't even speak with them over the phone.
It's mind-boggling that the chief of the Border Patrol is being grouped with "every government employee".
