Ok, now I seem to be able to post. Not a whole lot was working when I first checked in.

This has potential to produce a pleasant way to remotely interact with other human beings who are also nurses.

Hi everyone. There will be a learning curve.

OK, so finally up and running. ?

Just a couple of things;

when you said weekend/Monday you forgot about us folks who are on GMT - they came a lot sooner for us. ?‍♂️

The other thing is, I received a nice new kindle for Christmas and signed in on that, I received an email telling me there was a sign in from a new device - which was good and very welcome - but..... it also told me I was signing in from Lansing, Michigan. ?

Like anything new I am sure I will get used to the new look.

We are aware that apparently everyone is posting from Lansing MI. Joe is looking into it (to see where exactly the allnurses party is located in Lansing LOL)

Specializes in pediatrics, school nursing.

Is there still a button to "go to last UNREAD" post within a thread? Over on the "school" [nurse] forum (can you add back in "nurses??"), we have several very long threads that will often get a lot of traffic over a day, and it becomes difficult to remember where you left off!!

Specializes in Geriatrics, Dialysis.

Quick question I haven't seen addressed, or at least I haven't found the answer on my own. What is this "community standing" percentage bar under our profile?

check out the video, with instructions how to customize the What's New tab (top of page) to see "unread" or whatever you choose:

We will be correcting the Specialty forums names. Part of the name was lost in the transition. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

We are looking into the "LAST UNREAD" post option. I used that feature all the time.

I am full of questions today, lol! Is there a way to exclude one category from the activity feed? I am getting tons of school program topics in the whats new feed and while I don't mean to offend anyone who finds those threads compelling I really don't want to scroll down past a ton of program specific content to get to topics that I want to read.

While creating your own feed, you can define which forums you want to include.

Just click on the cog icon next to "topics" and select the forums which you're interest into.

Click on WHAT'S NEW

You will see the stream of content. You can customize this to see what you want to see (and blocking what you don't want to see)

Click on the gear icon beside WHAT's NEW. You can select from the dropdown menu.

For more information, view the What's New Activity Stream video

I hope this helps!
