I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I honestly don't know what to say since I barely understood your post. I hope it gets better for you. Maybe you should see your PCP to see why you are having such a hard time focusing. Good luck to you.

No. Someone with problems like the ones you claim you have cannot be an RN.
Thats kind of the problem , and I did call my pcp and got nowhere '

Seriously, if things are as messed up with you as you say they are seek professional help. Internet forums are the first or even the last place I'd go looking for help in a situation like this.
Get a new one then.
what about case magament ? where you would not do bedside nurseing ?
You HAVE to do bedside nursing in order to graduate any reputable nursing program. Most nursing programs require you to have a physical exam and be in good health prior to entering the program. Based on your post you are NOT in good health.
Seriously, get your **** squared away before you start worrying about all the extraneous BS.

Just get your meds straightened out and on a plan that gets you to a better place. If your PCP can't do it, then find someone who can.

It does not matter.....you would still have to pass nursing school and boards..... And with such issues, it would be quite unlikely.
You would also need to improve your communication, spelling to even survive most courses.

It is really not safe to work with patients in any capacity when you occasionally "blank out". Even working case management you have to be on the ball. People are depending on you to get things done and you can't just leave everyone hanging because you forgot what you were doing.

I agree with the above posters. Nursing is a very serious profession and lives are at state as well as your own livelyhood, please seek professional advice before you make a major decision to become an RN. I wish you the best in whatever path you take. God bless you.
