study while others are sleeping; work while others are loafing; prepare while others are playing; and dream while others are wishing.

Excellent - esp. the 'study while others are sleeping' part. I did the vast majority of my MSN work between the hours of 0000 and 0500. :)

Though sometimes sleeping instead of a all nighter is adviseable
But essentially do all the things that most people aren't doing because let's face it most people aren't successful.
I'm a night shift person - I do all my important stuff at night. My thesis was about circadian disruption.

I really liked this quote. I'll be starting the BSN program next month and I work the night shift, weekends now and I'd do a lot of studying during my down time which I really enjoyed. I have a lot of friends who are busy hanging and going out partying and that's not my thing anymore. They always ask why I don't go out EVERY weekend and I always explain to them that I have a goal that I'm trying to reach. I'm only 23 and once I'm finished with my education I'll have all the time in the world to go out and things. Right now I'm focusing on being successful in the BSN program and nothing is going to jeopardize that. I've worked too hard to get to this point. I'm going to keep this quote in mind.

Want to succeed...another thought.
Identify examples excellence in your place of work and then practice them, what we practice becomes habit.
