Since we are such a diverse group here I though it would be fun to have our own poll-let's see if we at allnurses reflect the results we'll wake up to on Wednesday(or Thursday or sometime in the next month) It should be an interesting week.....

I totally agree with you. Unfortunately though I think Bush has instilled so much fear in people that other important issues have taken a back burner :o. What's even scarier is how people have forgotten that nothing has been done to make it safer.

You are correct! Ruling by fear hmmmm isn't that what Dictators do? In fact the terror we now face is delivered to us by our own Commander in Chief!

I had a horrible nightmare last night the nightmare was about the election and it was a virtual tie except for one state yep Florida Bush ended up winning in a landslide in florida what a scary dream i think Bush is gonna win sorry democrats i really would love to see both Bush and Kerry lose too bad its a two party system.

well if we could just get Nader in a last minute lanslide I would be happy. Isn't funny how one little thing can completely ruin som,eone chances. Look at how we lost Howard Dean whoo IMO would have been a much better candidate than Kerry.

I've been watching this all day and it moves from Kerry being ahead to Bush being ahead and you are right . .hardly anyone has voted.

Now it is neck and neck ... .

I voted for Bush. I did not vote my self-interests, as I believe a Democratic president would benefit many of the things I believe in. However, I adamantly do not want a war on US soil. I believe Kerry and his idea of a "kinder war" would increase the United States' vulnerability.

My dad has been dead for many years, but he did use a line (author unknown) which was kinda funny. Please don't take offense as none is intended.

"If you are a Republican at 20, you don't have a heart. If you are a Democrat at 50, you don't have a brain."

I do hope Bush is reelected, however, mostly I just want the election to be over. And boy oh boy, do I hope we know tomorrow, so life can move on.

How will Kerry advance the working class? By taxing us more? He says he won't but he has always voted in favor of raising taxes. How will he help small business? Tax them more so they are forced to lay off workers? As a working Republican I fail to see how Kerry would "advance" the working class. It is not the government's responsibility to advance me, it's my own.

Hmm see this is just the sort of thing that is confusing. I feel exactly the same about Bush and his tax policies, they only hurt me an average middle income worker, I always have had better cost of living during Democratic presidencies, and prices always sore duriing republican reign.

Bush has created the War, and given false reasoning and continues to claim it is to protect us from Terroist when It does nothing of the kind. Bush uses Terror as his weapon and fear just as I mentioned dictators do. War on American soil is not even an issue to me, I don't feel that is a realistic possibility and feel that is another of Bushes terror tactics.

just ask yourself who is making money off of this war? War has always been a fund raising tool and usually a job creator which we haven't had the benfit of from this one.

I noticed alot of you are voting for Bush because you guys are scared of terrorism and you think Bush is doing a great job fighting terrorism.

So if 9/11 never happened would you still voted for Bush?

Yes, because I'm still a conservative voter and Bush is more conservative than the most liberal senator, Kerry.
