Hello, Do not give up. I am one of those people who took NClex three times. I pass on my thrid go around. I study NCLex Incredibly easy book which book down into simple terms and old class notes and charts and pictures. Remember the questions are base on Airway, breathing, Circulation and Nursing process. Look at web site has information on how to answer these type of questions and it help me. You will pass on nex go around.

I just took the NCLEX - PN, my thoughts.
Have faith. I understand how you feel. I had to take baord three times before I pass them the last I took was in Nov 05 and I only answer 86 questions and I found out the next day over the telephone. It going to be alright. You are going to pass. I had alot growth and development questions and prirotize questions. Take care.

Is LPN program worth it?
It is worth taking one step at a time. It work for some. SOme of my classmate doing well as LPN and taking time to get RN. The experiece gain as a nurse is valuable. The bottom line we all are important to the field of nursing.

Are there any nures/students with another degree
Yes I do ahve another degree in Business Management. I found out later I enjoy nursing.

things I didn't learn in nursing school
I read everyone reply to what did not teach in nursing school. I laugh at most of them. I have found out with my expereince as nurse most things we learn at school is gone ot the window. I do believe school help but experance is our best teacher.

Why did you become a nurse?
I enjoy helping people.:chuckle I have been a CNA almost 10 1/2 years and I will receiving my LPN soon and going back to school to become RN. I enjoy seeing patients/clients smiles. :rotfl: I enjoy learning new things. I know I will never bored as a Nurse. You will always have job with nice pay.:)

Anyone a CNA/nursing assistant b4 an LPN?
On of the Hospital here in Va does same thing but call them nurse tech and perfer nursing students and expereinces CNA. Give all training you ever need to do the job. It put ahead of follow student you the job on the regular basis. Everyone have a nice day.

:) I am so encourage by your post. I am a CNA for about 10 years and just finsh LPN classes. I will taken state board soon. i encourage you to hang in there because You already fit all of making of a Nurse. I am planning on returning to school after passing board for RN program. Keep a postive outlook.
