  1. There are a few traveling nurse agencies that hire lvn/lpns....nursesrx.com and healthcare staffing network 800-388-2610 .... There more for us lvn's maybe not as much as Rn's , but there are some that pay for our traveling expenses and housing....there is actually a traveling agency looking for Lvns to travel to Hawaii, California, Arizona, etc......Not just Rn's , but Lvns there is so much work for nurses out there period. Good luck I hope you guys find what your looking for .......
  2. I took the examine on 11/5 and the computer shut off at 205 questions I got my results today and unfortunately I failed. I've been out of school for over a year and I'm not sure what to do. Does anyone know of any review courses in California? I been looking on the internet and I was unable to find any. My school only offers review courses for new grads. I just don't know what to do the nclex had me stump it just seems no matter how much I study I don't think I would understand.
  3. Thanks for words of encouragment. I took the examine on 11/5 and I also stop at 205 questions and I also guess on 30% of the examine. Unfortunately since I am in California I still have not received my results back. So I have been very nerves lately. I'm still now convince I passed, but since reading your post maybe so. :) P.s ,,, Congrats
  4. :balloons: Congratulations ,I know you pass Anamarie. Good luck with you new career.
  5. I'm hoping I get my results within a week. Now that you told me there are some people that usually pass with 205 I feel a little at ease. Well good luck to you let us know how it goes on Friday. I'm sure you passed with flying colors.
  6. I just took my examine today and my computer shut off at 205 questions I don't think I passed. I was told that to pass the computer usually shuts off between 85-150, but it is possible to pass at 205 questions. Is there anyone that actually passed at 205 questions because I don't hear to many people that do.
  7. Amymarie your test cut off at 85 that's good. I took my test today and my computer did not shut off until 210 questions. I don't think I pass everything I studied from Saunders was not even on the test. Honestly it seems like I merely guess on more than half of the test. It was very hard for me. Please to all say a little prayer for Amymarie and I that we both pass.
  8. I take my examine on Saturday and I also have been studying Saunders. I'm sure you'll do fine. Good luck :)
  9. I also had a pettie misdemeandor on my record all I had to do was send court documents showing that the case was taken care of and close. I also had to send in good character references from friends, schools, jobs, etc. As long as your friends charges were'nt recent and he went to court and took care of the matter and the case is closed he should be able to take the examine.
  10. Congrats Shanshan, I'm currently studying to take my boards next month any advice?
  11. Thanks Cashew for the info on how the nclex-pn works. I finish up the Lvn program about a year ago and I just recently got nclex-pn forms to take the boards. I just started back studying and it's all starting to come back to me, but I'm still very nerves on taking the test. What advice can you give me for preparing for the test, how long did you study before taking the exam? What type of questions or on the exam? What should I focous on? Did you take a review course before hand? What review books would you recommend? Any advice you feel is helpful please share. Thanks
