Just got my license last week and I was dissapointed when I got the paper today to try and look for a job...nursing homes, nursing homes, nursing homes...pretty much all that is available w/out some prior experience. I have been interested in working for a plastic surgeon, but Ive yet to see any jobs advertised in our local paper. Does anyone know if its only RN's that they hire? I was just gonna take a chance and send out a few resumes. Thanks!!!!

Im sure you will do fine...but only advice is DONT watch the numbers..treat every question as though its your first one. I freaked when mine didnt cut off at 85. Good luck, god bless!

Same here..grants and some wonderful family members..I am a single mom with 3 kids and there is NO WAY i could have held a job!

I just got back from taking the nclex-pn...I will repeat what others have said already...that was the worst test Ive ever taken and I felt like I had never been in nursing school....I paniked when it didnt cut off before 100 and got really nervous, watching the clock....It finally cut off around 190 something, but I dont feel like I passed and dont really know how to prepare to pass it if i have to take it again.....I need a drink
