  3. :) SWalls, I am glad you are feeling more at ease I know the worring is a killer, but I wish you all the luck, you deserve it after all them question. Thanks again, Amy
  4. :flowersfoThank you so much for the encouragement, this web site has really helped me and it is made me feel better to read everyones replies, and know that there are people are out there suffering with me at one time or another. Amy
  5. Thanks for the confidence, I don't think the number you get means pass or fail either I just think that percentage wise getting 85 questions has high pass rate. Not that it eases my mind cause it still could mean I failed. Just like getting 205 could easily mean you passed. So I hope I am the part of that percentage that passes with the minimum question. Thanks again, Amy
  6. SWalls, I responded to the reply you let for me, you should read it. I had two people from my class pass with 205. So good luck, and Thanks, Amy
  7. SWalls, I hate to hear you had so many. I don't think I would have made it if I had that many, at my 85th question I was praying for it to be over. The questions were so hard, and I was afraid they would only get worse. Did you take the RN exam, b/c I thought the PN exam stop at a maximum of 205? Well anyways I had two people in my class get all 205 and they both passed, so try ( even though I know it is hard ) to be positive. How long do you have to wait? I should know Friday????
  8. BigB, I didn't have any(multiple answer, fill in the blank, math, or hot spot) none of the new stuff. I had a little of everything and things I had never heard of. I hope those were the one that didn't count. Wish I could help you more but I just had 85. Thanks for the wish of good luck. Amy
  9. :wink2: Thank you ajohnsonLVN, I hope you are right. I will let you know how it turns out. Your words have really helped, but the wait is a killer huh.
  10. hello jesseLPN14, thank you for the fast reply. I see you are from ky I sure miss living there at least they had since enough to do the quick results.
  11. I mean am I so dump that it wouldn't let me go on to show that I do know some things. I had a 93% average in school and studied really hard for the exam. ( not that any of the things I studied was on there. I had what I thought to be a difficult NCLEX-PN exam today. Some questions were really dump. I had alot of priority questions, but some where just dump. With all we know about the computer cutting off at the minimum of 85. What would you say my percentage of passing is? Please share with me what you all think, I have over a week before I will know for sure.
  12. :wink2: Thank you all for the replies I appreciated them. I just got done taking my NCLEX-PN exam. It was very hard some of the questions I had were terrible and some things I have never heard of. I hope that they were the ones that don't count against you. Mine cut off at 85 thank God, I don't think I could have stood any more. I had alot of different subjects, I cant really say that it was alot of one thing. I did have pretty many pharm questions and priority. Well I will probably know something next Friday or around the 15th of Nov. I will keep you all posted. Pray for me.
  13. Thank you guys so much for the advice! These last few days I am going to study my rationals for my questions I done and Read throught my NEC Nclex-pn review book to help refresh my memory. This book really breaks it down to the basics on each subject. Liz75 , Please keep me updated on how it goes, and good luck.:balloons: Luv4nursing, I did go to school in Elizabethton at Tn. Tech. Center. It was a great school. We had a NCLEX review course, that is the book I am reading over now, the things he said to highlight. I just hope it helps. Thanks so much guys, I will keep you posted.:)
  14. :chair: :smackingf I am taking my boards Friday. I never have the feeling that I am ready. Whenever I study I feel overwhelmed and worried. My classmates that have passed say how bad (hard) it was. There has been 11 pass so far. ( not sure how many have taken it). I have been working for weeks on the Q&A saunders nclex-pn cd and also a few others. :selfbonk: If any one has advice about (before and during) taking my boards or any kind of reassurance I would greatly appreciate it. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amy:rolleyes:
  15. :selfbonk: I took the NET test when I applied at my practical nursing class at our local technology center. We took the math first it wasn't to bad it started our really simple math , adding, subtracting , ect. the it gets harder as it went along. A GED study guide will help you alot. We had 60 math questions and 60 minutes to finish it. Then it was time for the Reading, it was nothing like I thought. We had a long paragraph and then about 5 questions about the paragragh but the bad thing is we only had 30 minutes to answer the 33 questions. So for a little FYI we had to read the questions and find the answer in the paragragh b/c you really didn't have time to read it all. I am not sure it will be the same as yours but it will probably be similar. Hope this helps you some. :)
