Thanks everyone for the great advice and I love the scripture! I'm a spiritual person myself so this should help me get through the exam. I'm also really glad to hear that I'm not the only one starting nursing in their 30's, I'm quitting my job too and I tell ya, I've gotten so scared about the changes I'm going to be making, the money I'm going to be losing....but overall, I'm so happy I've made my decision. :) Thanks again and I'll be letting you know if I passed!

Hi, I take the Accuplacer test next week for entrance to the 12 month program at one of our community colleges. I'm nervous about the math! I'm 36 years old, two small children, married...I'm taking the plunge and finally going back to school, I decided on nursing after the birth of my first child 4 years ago but never had time to go back. Tell me, is the Accuplacer really hard? How tough will this year of LVN school be for me, I have to work but want to do part-time only. Does anyone out there work while going to LVN school, have kids and a household to take care of?
