I wonder how many people they lose by taking so long? You would think they'd have a faster turnaround to get the best candidates.

I have known people at my local hospital for many years so I know that position will remain available. I am patiently waiting for Vandy's response before I commit to anything.

I think a lot of us are in the same boat about whether to wait or not. Vandy is my top choice, however I am applying like crazy to other major research hospitals as well. I really want an ICU spot and would love to get it at Vandy and then eventually go to grad school there.

I got a job in FL, and I hate FL. :no: I can't believe I have to endure 2 more years here. My only hope is if Vandy calls before I sign the contract...

Just interviewed at Vanderbilt yesterday! Overall, I thought it went well, but it went so quickly that I did feel flustered for some of the questions. Anyway, I'm just glad it's over and I can just wait on their response. Good luck to those who are interviewing this week/next!
