Thank. I just wanted acute care, I don't care what unit because my goal is to be an FNP, so I'm just after experience right now. So yeah, I'm happy.

Ahhhhh man I am so anxious about hearing back from Vanderbilt! The days just go by so slooooooowwwwwwllllllyyyyy. Plus I am watching the CMAs right now which are obviously taking place in Nashville and jeez I just want this position so darn bad!

I can definitely relate! I was just offered a position at another hospital, and I hope Vandy lets us know before December 1!

Congrats! What were you offered?

Today (Nov 7th) was the last day for interviews, at least in acute care. I think I'll call you-know-who next Friday to try to push for an answer. I haven't signed my commitment papers for the job I was offered yet. Come on Vandy, this other hospital barely let me get home before they called and offered the job. Why are you so sllllloooooowwwwww???? You're losing most of the people on this thread!

@ NewYorkerGirl and @Bcdawber I am in the same boat, I was offered a job for another hospital 2 weeks ago and I was able to push my start date back to December 1st :/ I am going in next week to sign paperwork........I hope we hear back soon too!! I have no idea what to do!

I feel like it would be bad karma to back out of the job, but I won't be able to say no to Vandy. It's awful they make us wait so long. Were we really supposed to not apply anywhere else, living in limbo? Ugh.
