The application for the Vanderbilt nurse residency for February 2015 will open in August. Who all is applying? Does anyone have advice for those of us who will be applying?

That might happen to me. I have an interview next week for a fabulous hospital, and the recruiter said my resume is perfect and it's hard for them to find nurses this time of year. Uh-oh....

I heard at least BY December 6th. Looking at threads from previous years, many heard back around the last week of November. I'm hoping to hear at least something in November.

Yeah, previous threads said the no's come out first, then the waitlists, then the acceptance offers are last! I was told at the interview we should all know our status by Dec. 1st, not 6th, but that was a goal and not set in stone. Maybe acute care is deciding faster than ICU?

Now I have a second interview at Fabulous Hospital next week. Oh crap Vandy, hurry!

I was also offered a position today in the ICU at the hospital where I work as a tech but I am really hoping for Vandy!
