@punky yeah i did about a week and half ago and she said letters would go out the next day but they never did lol.

Im going to call probably today or tomorrow.

i called today and they said letters would go out this afternoon via snail mail :-/ but everyone else found out via email so I have a feeling that these are rejection letters they were speaking of :-/

Hold in there KRR2009. You never know...you could be surprised. I know of some people last semester who got a wait list letter in the mail and they got in by the time the semester was starting. Hope for the best and I'll pray that all of yall who are waiting for the final word will get the good news!

i got my letter today in the mail and im on the waitlist. i guess thats kind of a good thing lol hopefully a spot will open up!

I have many friends in the program now who were wait-listed, and called in during orientation!!

Thanks everyone! I talked to them on Thursday and they have accepted me for the Fall 2012 semester..that means I have to wait a lot longer but it actually works a lot better with my current family situation as my dad deteriorates from cancer. Congrats to everyone who will be starting this spring and hopefully I may see some of y'all around next fall!! And for those that have been wait listed or rejected..DON'T GIVE UP! God knows the perfect time for this to happen to you, trust me I've been trying to get in somewhere for the past two years. Have patience and never give up!

Waitlisters - Don't give up hope!! Many who were accepted will decline for some reason or another - decide on another school, finances, just don't show up to orientation!!

If you were put on a wait list and have no received a call by January 5, CALL THE SCHOOL!!!!!

BUT if for some reason, you don't get in... Please, do not give up on your dreams!

I am looking to apply to UTMB for this upcoming fall semester. I was wondering what are your scores for the TEAS and your GPA? I just want to know where I stand. I am freaking out since application just open and I am hoping I'll finish them by the end of this month.

I was 2.98 gpa and a 90.7 % TEAS overall... Keep in mind that UTMB does not go on scores and grades alone! I had a TON of W's on my transcript from way back when, a C in Chemistry, and B's in most other classes from back in the day...all my new classes were A"s such as nutrition, A&P 1 &2, Micro, and Statistics though... I also had a really good essay. I had 10 people proof it before i sent it! 3 of which were UTMB alumni :) No nursing history/experience except for working in a veternarian's office for 3 years and doing vet tech stuff. Make sure to get on the fall 2012 board if you arent already on it.... a lot of usa springers are helping out over there.
