Sorry I didn't want this post to get mixed up with the other thread haha it's so long.

Anyways wondering if anyone else applied for the Spring 09. Im also wondering if its worth buying the study guide for the TEAS that they are selling and what kind of questions they ask you in the interview.

I'm so nervous because mine is coming up!

so, I heard today that our uniforms are changing next semester to orange..its better than all white, but were gonna look like prison inmates!

If nursing school is really as demanding as I hear it is, we may also feel like prison inmates White is so bad about stains and undergarments showing through (even if they are white also). Glad to hear they've changed to another color.

One thing to keep in mind about white is that you can BLEACH your clothes!!

Ur white shoes r fine..the uniforms are gonna be orange and black, so that sounds much better than all orange...

yeah im a current student and trust me orange and black is going to be waay better than all white..its so annoying remembering to wear black undergarments and trying not to touch anything that will mess up nd stain ur clothes..

true that! Well at least we know that if they do change the uniform, it wont be an ugly white shirt because I have never seen and orange or black shirt like that. haha.

I received my welcome packet today! Wow all these mandatory meetings starting on Jan 4th with the heart to heart. Looks like we have assigned readings before class (correct me if im wrong)

Whew that was a load of info in that packet... Time to start packing for my move!

Yep, got mine too. From what I understand, the Heart to Heart thing is not mandatory.

Has anyone started shopping for books online yet? I've got a couple already, and I'm gonna start working on the rest.

Orange and black uniforms, huh? I'll be happy to not have to worry about keeping my white stuff stain-free.

Ok, I'm definitely procrastinating studying for my finals next week. Gotta get back to it.

yea i know. i guess that's what orientation is for. i guess i'm not going to go to the heart to heart thing since it sounds like it's geared more towards your family and friends (i.e. your interpersonal support system). i would think that the info covered is going to be repeated in orientation anyway. please correct me if i'm wrong.
