Hey everyone?!
Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME
I really can't wait. Good luck to everyone! ?

Hi there!
I also applied for the Fall 2019 semester. I took my Hesi this past Friday and I'm so relieved it's over! Like you, I'm just ready to get it done. I don't want to have to take any additional classes for other schools. I started working on my prerequisites in 2013 so I know what you mean! ?
Hesi scores:
Reading Comprehension: 94
Grammar: 100
Vocabulary: 98
Math: 94
A&P: 88
I was hoping to stay in the 90s for all sections but I'm okay with these scores. Hopefully, it'll be good enough to get an acceptance. We shall see! Good luck to us!

Oh wow! That is amazing, congrats. Those are very good scores. I really hope you get in. Stay in touch and let me know if you get in or any updates if you know of anything.

Hello! I applied for the Fall 2019 Pacesetter program as well. Just waiting to hear the answer. I took my HESI a couple of weeks ago.
Math 96%
A&P 96%
Vocab & Knowledge 98%
Grammar 96%
Reading Comp 94%
I have a 4.0 overall and science GPA right now. I am currently taking my last two pre-req classes (A&P2 and Micro). These are definitely not my favorite classes so my GPA may drop a bit! I have a Master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and have been a flight medic in the Air Force for 19 years. I have always wanted to go to nursing school but I always had to work full-time to pay the bills.

Wow! Those scores are amazing. Yes AP2 was not much fun, Micro i liked mainly because of how my professor taught it. Good luck with everything. I really hope we all get in because based on past forums, there is really no way of knowing.

Hi Guys,
I just wanted to join this forum, I applied for Fall 2019 as well. I have a quick question tho, I took the HESI under the UTH code but it appears under my to-do list along with my transcript which I sent electronically from my school. The both state "Initiated" as the status. Can someone help me understand this lol, this is my first time applying there. Thank you!

How long ago did you take the HESI? Are you still taking coursework for the school? They keep the transcripts on the to do list until they have your final transcript. I had the same problem so I emailed them to confirm that they got my transcript. They responded the same day. I emailed both the registrar ([email protected]) and the office of student affairs ([email protected]). Hope that helps :)
Hello!
I also applied for the Fall 2019 and I just took the HESI. It feels great to be done with that part of the app process. Like many of you here, I have been working towards this for a long time. I'm ready to start this part of my education. Now to play the waiting game.
My scores:
Reading: 96Grammar: 94Vocabulary: 96Math: 96A&P: 96
Good luck to everyone!

Those are some really good scores, congrats! The waiting game is brutal. I just have to finish this semester and sociology in the Summer and after that I will either get in UT or I'll try UT and TWU for Spring.

Hi All,
I also applied for Fall & I'm also seeing a To Do for one of my transcripts (I sent all 7 in one envelope so not sure why this is the only one still on there, maybe bc I received a bachelors from that school?) I've emailed the registrar over a week ago and no response so I'm going to call on Monday.
Based on the summer pacesetter thread, my stats aren't looking so competitive, especially for fall. I have a 3.2 and a 86 on the HESI. I've also applied to a fast paced ADN program in Austin for those with certain healthcare degrees/certs (I'm a surgical technologist) and I thought the ADN was my top choice but now I'm really wanting to do this program more as the cost for the final BSN (after doing a bridge RN-BSN program) isn't really that different. It's a bit late to retake the HESI and I'm currently in the TX/US government classes so if I reapply, hopefully I'll have better stats then.

Have you tried emailing the office of student affairs? I emailed them about a similar issue and they got back to me the same day.
