UTH Cizik School of Nursing BSN Pacesetter- Fall 2019

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

Hey everyone?!

Just wanted to start a forum to see if there are any other nursing student applicants for the Fall semester? I just applied, although, I know I will not get a response until beginning of April. I was so excited since I just finished my HESI. I had to retake it since I did not take Vocab. the first time I took it? . Anyways, I really pray I get in for August so I can get started and not need to take any additional classes for other schools. My friend got in for Spring 2019 and she is loving it. I have really been fighting to get here for a VERY LONG TIME

I really can't wait. Good luck to everyone! ?

Hi guys! I was accepted for the pacesetter program for spring 2020, can anyone tell me how big classes are, about how many students are in one class? Hope to hear from someone soon ( :

Hi! I'm a J2 right now. Congrats on your acceptance!!! Your whole cohort attends the same class as you so your class is going to be about 120 or so students. We all attend the same class because the classes are only available for one time if that makes sense. But as the semester goes on fewer people go and sometimes there were only about 20 students in class since J1 semesters' lectures are recorded and posted online

Congratulations on being accepted! I'm currently a J1 student and as @dorkyhades stated, your cohort will consist of about 120 students who will progress through the program together. You will attend classes together on the same day and at the same time with the exception of labs and clinical. They will split you guys up into groups and assigned to a time slot for those. The benefit of the recordings is that you can also rewatch the lecture through Canvas if you can't make it to lecture.
