I’m thinking of applying to this program since it’s taking awhile to hear back from Tech. How do you like the program so far? How big is your class?

Hi, I am applying to the BSN to DNP in FNP for Fall 2020 and I just submitted all of my application requirements.

I was hoping to get some insight as to what questions they ask in the interview from anyone that might have already interviewed.

Any help would be appreciated!

I applied to the BSN-DNP AGACNP track. Had an interview last Thursday. It seemed very casual and like they really just want to get to know you better. Standard interview questions like “why do you want to be an NP?” “Why Acute care?” (FNP for you obv) and then a lot of just asking about my experiences and goals. I wouldn’t stress too much but make sure you can articulate your career goals. Best of luck!

It was by video chat using WebEx. Also it was 1 on 1, which I was kind of expecting a panel for some reason. Like I said though, very relaxed. The interviewers are all working from home according to the lady I spoke with.

just wanted to update that I got accepted today to the AGACNP track! I had to do another interview because the first one wasn’t with the right person. But before the 2nd interview was even over he told me I’d be admitted. Let me know what happens with yours! Good luck again!

Hi there, where do you guys see the application status? I applied in mid May and haven’t heard anything back yet and is starting to worried.

@LovelyElly Hi I did interview a week ago and she said that they will let us know within 2 weeks. No word back yet! fingers crossed! I got into TWU just in case my plans don't work out, but I would like to get back into UTHealth.

@hope2015 you can see it through MYUTH (I had to call because I never got an email with my login information). it took them a month to get back to me with an interview invitation. I applied May 8th and they got back with me on June 5th.
