UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

Can't wait to hear from others.

that is the day before finals start for us, but i only have one final this semester which is on that following monday. i guess i lucked out!

Hi guys, i'm new to this site and am so glad i found it! This process has been so stressful and it's awesome to see everyone else in my shoes feels the same way I do. I amazingly got an interview and it's this Monday, Oct. 5. I was just wondering where everyone managed to find parking because I only want to take the metrorail if absolutely necessary because I do have any experience with it. I just want to get to my interview on time with no problem. Thanks in advance!

i parked in the garage right across the street from the school, it ended up being ten dollars to park, but if you ask me it was worth the reassurance

I also parked across the street in Garage 2. I paid $10 for 3+ hours but it was worth the cost. It is right across the street so it only took me 10 minutes to get from my car to the school. Good luck on your interview!

Yep, I parked in the MD Anderson parking garage across the street from the school. It cost me $7, but I interviewed early, so I wasn't there as long as some.

Thanks for all the help! I am definitely going to park at one of the places suggested. I am so nervous I hope I can get a decent night's sleep for tomorrow.

i believe interviews are based stricty on gpa and net scores, i know you have to have at least a 70 on both the reading comprehension and math sections to be considered, i'm not sure what gpa was necessary to be invited to an interview

Call the school. I'd imagine they'd at the very least send you a "we regret to inform you" letter.

actually, they don't send that out even if you did not get an interview invitation until they send everyone's at teh same time

That's certainly an awful way to get someone's hopes up. This just reaffirms my belief that this school is not for me.

I don't think it's like written sop, but it's been inferred from past UTHSCH threads
