UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

has everyone who has gotten their interview letter also gotten the letter that includes all of your course work? i received my interview letter saturday but still haven't seen that one.

also, does anyone have any suggestions for resume formatting? i just started my junior year at A&M, so i've never had a full time job, or worked in the health care field, but i have a lot of volunteer experience in hospitals and a free clinic. right now my resume is formatted more for finding a part time job, so the majority of it is my previous work experience in restaurants and such, with my volunteer experience listed at the bottom. i'm assuming i should reformat it and add more detail about the health related volunteering and less about previous part time jobs, right? i just wanted to see if anybody had any suggestions before i meet with an advisor at the career center later this week.

I have received my interview letter but not my transcript evaluation. Maybe I will call and ask them about that, because it would suck to get in and then find out one of my courses didn't transfer and they expected me to take it in the fall.

I have been wondering the same thing about the resume format, so I'll be waiting with you for the suggestions ;)

i got my interview letter in the mail on the 4th too!!!! yay and eeek! I had all of my transcripts in by early-mid august and took my NET on August 22nd. I wish had I read this post about the re-testing for the 830am test takers... The slow, slow proctor + fire alarm + not enough caffeine = huge headache!!

Also, has everyone received a confirmation letter about the courses you may still need? Do you guys know if they will tell you if you don't need to take anything?

I sent UT an email asking about those of us who have interview letters but not transcript evaluations. Hopefully I will hear something back tomorrow. I will let everyone know.

I hadnt been on here in about a week and I see people are getting interviews.....congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost threw up though reading that. I am waiting on my NET results which I should get tomorrow or any day now. I pray the reading was at least a 70 since I saw someone with that score got an interview. Last time I took it I got a 97 Math 67 Reading....one away....I couldve screamed out loud. Will everyone who has gotten an interview please post what you got in reading? Thanks! Just curious if anyone with a 67 got one since someone with a 70 did.

i received an interview letter and got an 85 on reading

I got my transcript eval the same day I got the interview letter. So I guess they are in the mail.

3.5 regular gpa

I have 8 years of medical work experience and in 2001 I graduated Deans List from the Surgical Tech. program at HCC. I hope that helps.

I will know tomorrow if NET scores will make the cut...I pray I can sleep tonight
