UT houston spring 2010 hopefuls

hi there, I'm a spring 2010 UT houston hopefull, I'm trying to see who else is embarking on this journey so we can support each other. I really enjoyed tracking the Fall 2009 class, and I hope we can do the same. I still have a few classes to take. I am currently taking chemistry. As of now my science GPA is 3.33, and overall gpa is 3.61. I am taking the net in May.

it appears that they may be doing interviews by NET test scores as I have the latest date so far from what I have read, Sep 24th.

I got and 85 reading and 100 math on the NET (which I took in late July) and my GPAs are

Nursing pre-req 3.90

Math - 4.0

Undergrad - 3.92

My interview is the 17th and I had everything submitted by mid-August. My last name starts with a B, so maybe that is why I have an earlier interview? I don't know what method they are using to determine when to send out interviews, but it looks kind of random from what I have seen on the board. My friend at school has a higher net score and slightly lower GPA and submitted all her stuff at about the same time but her interview is the 24th also. Her last name starts with H.

Yeah, that makes sense to do it alphabetically, so they don't skip anyone. Then, I'm guessing after those who took that late test date will probably be interviewed.

Just for comparison, I have NOT received an interview letter, and these are my scores:

85 reading

90 math

3.5 prerequisite

4.0 science

3.1 overall

I had my transcripts in by the end of July and I took the NET August 22nd. I do still have 3 prerequisite courses in progress (psychology, lifespan, and sociology), which will be complete in October. I have also not received a transcript evaluation, but I'm guessing that's because I have courses in progress.

I got a transcript evaluation even though I have several courses in progress. The transcript evaluation lists what courses you still need. You should call them and see what the hold up is. Hopefully you'll have better luck talking to the right person than I have.

I took the NET 2 times I got a 97 on the math both times 73, 79 on the reading Im not sure wich one they took?

I do know that you have to have a 70 or above on the three scores to get an interview (math reading and composite)

OK, I emailed about the transcript evaluation. My last name starts with a 'D', but my maiden name starts with an 'M' and for some reason that's what they've got me listed under, even though I've already tried to get it corrected once. Has anyone with a later alphabet name gotten a letter yet?

My last name starts with D. My interview is on the 21st. I got them all my stuff by july, I got a class evaluation shortly after and then an updated one after I turned in more transcripts.

I got a response back from UT about transcript evaluations. My advice to everyone is to email, as apparently they had completed my eval, but someone didn't mail it. They are mailing it out today so I should get it tomorrow or the next day.

I have courses in-progress also, by the way, so you should get an evaluation either way.

my last name starts with a W, unless there are no interviews after the 24th...I think the alphabetical interview order is out of the question, lol
