UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020

Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

ACLS from NorCal Emergency Medical Training (through AHA), ECG through my school, and NIHSS and FEMA are free.

Where can I find NIHSS and FEMA for free? I have been looking and they seem to charge on most places. Thx so much ?

FEMA: https://training.fema.gov/is/courseoverview.aspx?code=IS-100.c

NIHSS: http://www.nihstrokescale.org

does anyone know when people typically hear back and if they are hiring in the NICU

My changed to "Application Under Review"...I get all it means is that it has been routed. I applied the last round for Spring 2020 and mine never changed. Has anyone recieved "No Longer Under Consideration" or an interview invitation? I am curious if the interviews will be in person or via teleconference like with Zoom or one of the others. ?

I was hired last round and my application status never changed. It didn’t even change after the job offer was accepted ? I’m glad that statuses are updating this round!

This process is so stressful ?...so awesome you got in! What department? How do you like it?

@ENTnurse when did people typically start hearing back for interviews/ finding out that they got the job?

a member spoke with HR back in late May and they said that calls will most likely be made in July

I looked at the forum for fall 2019 and people starting receiving calls around the last week of June ? Hopefully anytime now!

I am curious about the format of interviews as well! Are other hospitals in the region holding in-person interviews right now?

also does anyone know if they hire into NICU, CICU, PICU?
