UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020

Is anyone planning on applying? Application period opens up April 29th. I am curious how it will work out with unit placement when so many programs in CA did not get to finish their preceptorships.

Does anybody know of someone who has been hired into the cohort with and Associates degree?

I'm wondering about this too, or if anybody knows of someone who got hired with a non BSN bachelor's?

I just got a call for an interview with 8E Med-Surg speciality. I have a bachelors and no license yet.

Did you ask for Med-surg or did you do your senior preceptorship in Med-surg? Or both?

I did my senior preceptorship in a med-surg because of COVID. I was initially placed for the ICU but lost that. I didn't ask for a unit. Also it was a call directly from the unit manager.

You got this! Are they conducting interviews in person?

Thank you! It's over zoom. And the manager said it'll just be 1:1 so no panel.

That's great, CONGRATS! What day was your interview scheduled? I'm just curious how many days we can expect to have between the call and the interview.
