SWEDISH NEW GRAD RN RESIDENCY AUGUST 2020
@haleyc522 @McKinleemay I am in the process of applying for a 2 bedroom with my friend who started there in the last cohort. Rent is expensive so having a roommate makes it much more affordable.

UC Davis New Grad Residency Fall 2020
I applied in the Spring. Since my last application, I added ACLS, NIHSS, ECG, and FEMA Emergency Management certifications to my application. In addition, I reached out to hiring managers directly. I also restructured my whole resume and created a new, more effective cover letter. My last application never had a status change, but this one has proceeded to Under Review. Fingers crossed! Edit: For reference, I graduated in Dec 2019. Senior practicum in Surgical/Telemetry and extracurricular preceptorship in ICU.

SWEDISH NEW GRAD RN RESIDENCY AUGUST 2020
I had applied for the March cohort in February but wasn't going to be able to get my WA license in time (CA new grad here) so I requested to be considered for the August cohort. Applied as soon as it opened, got an on-demand video prompt directly following submitting my app, and then was contacted for a Zoom interview with CVICU Cherry Hill maybe a few weeks later? I can't really remember. I got my results back later that week with an offer. For me it was a very good interview experience. Every unit will be different but they were very kind and asked a few ice breaker questions to loosen up the interviewees, and then asked the typical expected questions like describe a time when you had a conflict with a coworker, describe your most challenging patient, why Swedish specifically, and the like. I believe it was about half an hour to forty minutes but I could be wrong.
