Hiya folks!

It's a bit early, but since the application period opens in a couple of months, I thought I'd start this topic to share support/encouraging words/info/nervousness.

Is anyone else already excited for next September?

Hello FutureRN-HM!

You should upload your official transcript to UBC. According to their official site, admission requirements include an "Interim Official Transcript" to be submitted by January 31, 11:59PM (PST). I was told by an advisor at UBC that the vocabulary is a bit confusing. Because your transcript is not sent by your school but yourself instead, it is considered unofficial on UBC's end, but you're still required to submit an official transcript. 

For anyone reading this in the future, don't worry too much if you think you've made a mistake in uploading your transcript; I've called UBC and they told me that if they can see that you've made a mistake, they'll ask for you to revise it (even after January 31) ?

That was the exact reason why I had that question. I knew I uploaded unofficial transcripts but the January 31st deadline says official transcripts.

That’s what I read from the nursing website! It said students from UBC vancouver and okanagan do not need to send in official transcripts! But if anyone wants to confirm this please do so

Hi! does anyone know if the personal statement is 3500 or 4000 characters max? it says 3500 but when you go over 4000, the system lets you know its 4000. Thank you ?

Apparently they look at the most recent university level credits, including those after graduation.

That makes me really nervous, I wonder why the sudden surge. Normally they get about 500 applications?
