Hi! I’m currently in the AD nursing program at UofA and I did my undergrad at UVic! I did my previous degree in biochemistry and I used MICR 408 (microbial pathogenesis) as the medical Microbiology pre-requisite I thought I used a document indicating what the course equivalencies are but I cannot find it anywhere! I’m sure there must be other course equivalencies besides MICR408. I would try and email the faculty of nursing to see if they can give you a more clear answer. I hope this helps :)

One of the courses that is only available to Nursing AD/AD honors has 38 open seats left!

I received an update around 4pm today that I met the requirements of my conditional offer. I am so excited! Is there a group or a page started for the cohort yet?! I'd love to start getting to know everyone before September!!

Has anyone received a final offer of admission after receiving the conditional offer? or any updates? I’m anxiously checking my email constantly LOL

I’m pretty far down on the waitlist. In the email it indicates how you scored for grades, supplemental, and casper

May 1st was the deadline to accept and pay the tuition deposit

I have received and accepted my offer! I’m just finishing up a pre-req right now. I hope they include Winter 2021 in calculation for aGPA. I’m sitting at 90’s in both classes ? I know UBC has their aGPA cutoff for this intake as of December 2020. I was unsure if UofA had a cutoff too.

I reached out to student connect a couple of weeks ago and they mentioned that the tuition deposit would be refunded if they revoked the offer of admission I.e. if you didn’t meet the competitive AGPA, so at least there’s that ? Does anyone know if classes completed this semester (Winter 2021) are included in AGPA calculations!?

Ahh that stresses me out. So what are they basing the conditional offers on? I’m confused by that.
