TWU Applicants Spring 2011

Hello Everyone,

Well I am currently looking to apply to TWU for Spring 2011. I thought it would be nice to start a thread because I am sure we will all need a good support system. The whole application process is so STRESSFUL!

Lets Get It Started!!!

I have a 4.0 GPA. I scored a 96% on the TEAS V.

I accepted into TWU; however I'm still waiting on UT-Houston and will decline TWU's offer if I get in there.

SerenePeach-I accepted at TWU Houston and I am also waiting on UT Houston. I am just curious, are you choosing UT because it is a shorter program or is it just a better school? If I get in to UT I honestly do not know which program to choose. Time is not an issue for me, so I don't mind doing the longer program.

I was really torn between UT Houston and TWU as both are very good programs. I've spoken to people I know who have graduated from or are still enrolled in each program, and I've heard great things from both sides. I even visited the campuses to get a feel for the schools.

Ultimately, for me, it does come down to the length of the programs...UT is 6 months shorter and that is why I am choosing that program if I get accepted.

congratulations to all! See you at TWU next semester! TWU has been the best thing to happen in my life. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else!

:coollook: Greetings. Just wondering is anyone commuting from the Webster/Clear Lake, or Galveston area?? If so, how do you plan to commute and would you consider carpooling?

AND....is anyone else debating btwn two schools? I'd like to discuss that without wading through tons of previous posts to find a conversation.

Has anyone received their acceptance packet in the mail yet? Just wanted to know when orientation is.

Did anyone apply to UHV? Its the accelerated program and I just recieved an invite.

I applied to UH-V and also got an invite, but I will be declining the interview. I have not yet received my info packet for TWU.

To all: Any news as of yet?

@ matter...I haven't heard anything yet about new emails getting sent out.

I can't wait to get the acceptance packet either!
