  2. I know huh?
  3. I'm glad to see you all are excited about school. It was good to see all of you today! Good luck and be ready to study your socks off!
  4. The only way I'm surviving is with loans AND I my fiance is really, really, helping me out. If I didn't have him, honestly, I don't know what I would do. I would probably ask for more loans (which is probably what I will have to do next semester). We'll be able to pay them back when done with school! (gotta think positive)
  5. I thought I could work the weekends only, and that was pretty tough for me. So, I ended up only working one day a week and next semester I'm only working once a month. I work in retail (at a pharmacy) and I thought that on the weekends when I would get off I could study. Yeah, right. I was too tired by the time I got home to even read anything for school. My pharmacist and I even thought I could study at work in between customers. That didn't work so good either. We are just too busy with school to work. Besides, I'd rather do school work than work at my job

  12. gloworm26, Missmoe is awesome person and I see she has been keeping you all informed! Sorry, I just noticed it said "missmoe" and I answered your question. Missmoe if you read this, sorry, I was just so excited talking about clinicals
  13. Hello! Ok, you will have to go to the hospital the day before clinicals to get your patients information. My group went alone without our instructor, but we went together, so that was a big help. Before you start going to the hospital for clinicals, you will have orientation. All intructors are different, so who know's what they will show you on orientation. My group went to ben taub and the day of orientation we went over the hospital's policies, visited the units we would be in, and looked around in our units to know where things were (like supplies, meds, linens, etc). You will only be assigned 1 patient. You will be in charge of changing their bed, helping with baths, and other daily living activities they need help with. Don't be afraid to ask if you can follow someone (RN or even a CNA) because you can learn so much!
  14. Yup! I'm running for TNSA President! Thanks for your vote Dolsen!
