One of my friends got into Houston and the other I have not heard from! It sucks but I am sure I will meet more people in the Dallas program to be friends with. @ molinalover - They go through as many rounds as they have to in order to fill the entire class. They also have alternates for those that back out before the start date.

merandmalmom - These individuals have not received an acceptance/regret as of yet. misshopeful - I confirmed with my one friend. She has only retaken Chemistry but due to transferring in of C (not due to drop). She has great personality and is liked by many of the professors.

Hey Misshopeful, Both were above the 88th percentile (Score was like 79) on the TEAS and had decent GPAs. One is a TWU student so she should have received the 0.4 bump in GPA which would have put her near a 4.0. She had a science GPA around 3.5. The other is a second degree student that has an undergrad in Biology. Not sure what her GPA is but I assume it is the mid to high 3s. I sure wish TWU would provide their formula or their philosophy on selecting candidates. From what I have heard, it is all about the science GPA then your overall GPA and the TEAS doesn't matter as long as you do decent on it.

Any news on late emails of acceptance? My friends that have not been accepted are worried!

Dolson, am I interpreting this correctly, your class has had 25 drop out already?

Still supposed to be Spring 2011. Check out where parking is compared to the building!!! Yah, it is crazy long walk but it says a shuttle comes along every 20 minutes. Not looking forward to that!

My best guess is that they sent out the first round of emails to fill up the program and based upon their response that they will not be attending a particular program they send the next individual in the order of ranking an email offering acceptance. Sucks for my friends that have not received an email yet from TWU! School won't be the same without them.

I have friends that still haven't received an email! Does anyone know if they are done sending them out or if they send out email of regrets? What was the latest time that someone got an email for the Dallas program?

I am sorry but I gave you false info. The traditional program usually finds out before Halloween. Again, I am sorry.

FYI, the email went out this morning for the traditional program!

Talked with my adviser and she informed me that the letters should be going out before November 1. After doing a little digging on the internet, it seems that in the past, Spring applicants knew their fate the Friday before Halloween.
