Trump's DERP State

Published

Confirmation Hearings for the Trump's incredibly bad choices for cabinet leadership positions.  Traitors, drunks, rapists, pet killers and television personalities were the first choice of the mentally ill old man.

My Senator, Dan Sullivan is all over his social media singing the praises of these folk so we should expect most of them to be confirmed.

Hegseths hearing should be starting about now.

I ignored this vile accusation the first time you made it and will again.

There are better homosexual role models out there like Peter Thiel or Scott Bessent.  I don't understand the lefts admiration for a self-admitted documented child predator like Milk who had relationships with teenage boys while in his 30s.  You can deny it all you want but the man admitted to relationships with underage males.

Liberals just love denying history

I'm still looking for articles about Milk's being a pedophile and having relationships with boys.

It seems rich that Hegseth, a man with sexual assault allegations at worst and admitted adulterer (five times on his first wife) would be concerned about a consensual relationship Milk had with a 17 year old (a relationship that was maintained for several years).  But I will concede it as wrong if the age of consent in New York was above 18.  Hardly makes him a "monster" but wrong is wrong.

We have a president that committed adultery many times but is forgiven and went on to greatness.

But let's get on our high horse about Milk who went on to greatness.

"In a 1982 biography of Milk, "The Mayor of Castro Street,” the late journalist Randy Shilts describes a relationship he said Milk, then 33, had with a 16-year-old named John Galen McKinley."

Trump's relationships with women is a little different than a 33 year old man preying on 16 year old boys. This is the modern day left folks, defend fully grown men having relationships with boys who just turned old enough to drive.

As for going onto greatness I think you mean President Trump who has twice been elected now as the President of the United States of America.  Enjoy the next 4 years.

Careful - you're starting to sound like a typical conservative closet case.

People who defend and promote sexual relationships with underage boys need to be called out.

Tell it to the SBC Executive Committee.

Or, the underage contestants "inspected" in their dressing rooms by Epstein's buddy trump while he owned the franchise.

For that matter, I don't recall you "calling out" Matt Gaetz, either.

In fact, the only time you seem concerned about child sexual abuse is when it implicates a gay man. The accusation of pederasty is a standard talking point of homophobes who are frequently homosexual themselves. This is in spite of the fact that the actual numbers show that the majority of such attacks are perpetrated by straight men and women.

Funny how that works, innit?

Tweety and I agree on very little, but I agree with him on this. In times like these, your attack on the sex life of a man who was murdered almost half a century ago is a self-serving non-sequitur. It's empty virtue-signalling to cover the fact that your "movement" and its leader are ugly, immoral and predatory.

God don't like ugly ... so be careful.

The biography said it was consensual and the guy was 17 and the age of consent in New York during that time wasn't known.   They maintained the relationship for several years, remained friends and there weren't any accusations from him or any other boys.

I can't tell how to think about it, so if you think he's a pedophile and a groomer, have at it.

Yes, I do mean all those good things about Trump, but might add convicted felon, adulterer, chronic liar and pal of sex trafficker Epstein.

I'm traveling so have only my phone and can't seem to share an essay from The Atlantic. It's titled "Who's Running the American Defense Policy " by Tom Nichols. I think it's worth a read.

I was afraid of that. Maybe I can post it when I get home in a few days.
Essentially, it's says the president has such a short attention span, that he doesn't care, except for the photo op; Hegseth only cares about lethality and gender; Rubio, is the most qualified but sidelined; and a lower-level staffer is making decisions about Ukraine.
In my view, it's a kakistocracy.

They made a movie about that kind of government in the USA awhile back. It was a comedy What was it called again?  Oh yeah.

Idiocracy

Now we can see that in real life, kakistocracy isn't a comedy it's a tragedy.
