Confirmation Hearings for the Trump's incredibly bad choices for cabinet leadership positions. Traitors, drunks, rapists, pet killers and television personalities were the first choice of the mentally ill old man.
My Senator, Dan Sullivan is all over his social media singing the praises of these folk so we should expect most of them to be confirmed.
Hegseths hearing should be starting about now.

Let's see if we can talk about the dangerous direction that RFKjr is quickly steering the country's public health policy. He seems to be modeling some of our vaccination guidance on the guidance found in countries with universal health care and better health outcomes than the USA.
RFKjr is making the USA sicker all by himself in this administration. Unfortunately, he also has lots of help. HHS published this:
QuoteTrust in U.S. public health declined from 72% to 40% between 2020 and 2024, coinciding with public health failure during the pandemic, including COVID-19 vaccine mandates. Though the COVID-19 vaccine was recommended for all children on the CDC schedule, the uptake rate was less than 10% by 2023. The uptake rate of other childhood vaccines declined during the same time period.
Donald Trump was the largest source of disinformation about public health, public health officials, and public health recommendations during a pandemic in 2020. His efforts led to one of the largest antivaccination campaigns of our lifetimes. Trump was responsible for a good bit of that decline in trust in public health.
QuoteSome experts said it's unclear how the CDC made the decision, with some suggesting the process may have flouted federal guidelines: "Agencies are supposed to undertake a rigorous process and ground these kinds of major policy decisions in evidence,” Richard H. Hughes IV, a lawyer who teaches vaccine law at George Washington University, told The New York Times, noting agencies are prohibited from acting "arbitrarily and capriciously.”
Experts have also noted that vaccine schedules are specific to each country depending on health care availability and the prevalence of certain diseases—many developed nations in Europe, for example, provide universal health care.

I just had a post get sent to moderator approval and I don't see why, but it's a program they have and not a decision of the moderators themselves. One never knows what triggers the flag. Had one flag yesterday too. It happens to me as well, not just you and I don't think others get to run rampant on the threads any more than you or I in my opinion. You and I see the post, but we don't know if it was sent for mod approval or that they just happen to word things that don't trigger their spam/bot program.

I'm sure that RFKjr would be happy to generate another fake study to support his feelings about vaccines.
