Confirmation Hearings for the Trump's incredibly bad choices for cabinet leadership positions.  Traitors, drunks, rapists, pet killers and television personalities were the first choice of the mentally ill old man.  

My Senator, Dan Sullivan is all over his social media singing the praises of these folk so we should expect most of them to be confirmed.   

Hegseths hearing should be starting about now.

The article described Loomer as "largely unaccountable". "Largely unaccountable" describes all of the incompetent and corrupt people surrounding Trump, doesn't it?  Isn't it weird how Trump's Chief of Staff allows these kind of people into his daily orbit? In his first term, Trump's Chief watched the president socialize and take advice from people like Mike Lindell and that went so well they've decided that Laura Loomer should be the next personal influencer of the POTUS this term.   

Maybe she's more than an unaccountable advisor.

The Ranking Member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI) released a report today  showing that Elon Musk's  DOGE, has generated at least $21.7 billion in waste across the federal government between January 20, 2025, and July 18, 2025.

LOL....Sen Blumenthal figures (apparently correctly) that the Trump critics won't figure out that 95% of that is for termination/retirement related costs that in the long run will save money.  Much of the other 5% could be debated if is wasteful.

MAGA believes that wasting billions of dollars today, making government less efficient, will somehow translate to some savings later and that the inefficient and broken government agencies won't actually matter to anyone.  It's an interesting belief system that allows them to cheer on the dismantling of our republic in ways that make us weak, vulnerable, and unhealthy.

Speaking of the government making us weak, did you listen to this?  While the Trump administration is actively covering up Trump's role in the infamous Epstein sex trafficking ring, they are insisting that Obama was at the head of a Russia, Russia, Russia conspiracy.  It's weird that none of the evidence that they reference actually supports the claims that they are throwing around.  It's also weird that they forgot that president's have immunity from prosecution.  Let's see if they arrest the people who weren't president because Trum wants them to. 

Fascists often follow familiar pathways.  Our fascists are no different.

Sec of Homeland Security is living rent-free in home traditionally used by the Coast Guard commandant. 
I can't recall any past Sec. of HS that seem to have such an air of entitlement. She complains of being horribly doxxed, but maybe if she wasn't such a POS, people wouldn't hate on her so much.

I wonder if she has a special outfit that is fitting for that residence. She seems to be very concerned about having just exactly the right look for the press.

The suck-ups in the current administration are bowing to Trump' delusions about the horrors of renewable energy. The Department of the Interior has ordered a stop to an offshore energy project that is nearly 80% complete. The project was to have provided energy to hundreds of thousands of homes in Rhode Island and Connecticut.
