On Thursday morning, after months of attacks on the United States Postal Service and vote-by-mail, President Donald Trump admitted that the two efforts are connected as a part of one voter disenfranchisement effort. In a Fox Business Network interview, Trump said that the sticking point for him in the negotiations over a new coronavirus economic relief package is Post Office funding: “If we don’t make a deal, that means they don’t get the money. That means they can’t have universal mail-in voting. They just can’t have it.”

A lawsuit by President Donald Trump's campaign seeking to block Pennsylvania counties from using drop boxes to collect mail-in ballots was put on hold Sunday by a federal judge who said state courts should have a chance to decide the matter first.
."After carefully considering the arguments raised by the parties, the Court finds that the appropriate course is abstention, at least for the time being," Ranjan said. "The Court will apply the brakes to this lawsuit, and allow the Pennsylvania state courts to weigh in and interpret the state statutes that undergird Plaintiffs' federal constitutional claims."...
..."The Trump campaign's claims are based on speculation," ACLU attorney Sarah Brannon said in an interview.
Marc Elias, an election lawyer representing Democratic-linked parties in the case, said in a statement that Trump and the Republicans had hoped to avoid the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, which is 5-2 Democratic. About 1.9 million Pennsylvanians have already requested mail ballots this year, compared with 107,000 in 2016, he said.

Please cite sources. That Heritage study proved that it was rare. There was that Republican in NC who got caught ballot harvesting but there isn't any evidence that I can find that this is a real problem and not something pulled out of his behind.
The Dems are worried about a few mailboxes while Rome is literally burning.
Maybe it would be more helpful to attempt to fix a real problem affecting people right now like all the violence/rioting/looting/harrassing/killing/injuring etc.
And, btw I am sure if they put their minds to it they could actually work on multiple problems simultaneously (ie work on the PO situation and the violence). Novel concept?

The GOP is now reframing the concern over voting to be concern over mailboxes? No surprise...they also think that kneeling during the anthem is a protest against the flag or patriotism and that wearing a mask during a national public health emergency is a sign of gullibility.

Not only did the Dems oppose but Biden called Trump a racist and xenophobe etc bc he closed the border from China. Yes, good thing Trump acted quickly even though "experts" were telling him it wasnt necessary. Also, Trump was acting in other ways r/t covid that of course the public would not hear about on the (used to be) main stream news.
