I graduated last December from with an AAS and scheduled my nclex-rn for March 15. Well you know the story........all of my friends had received only 75 questions and one girl got 110 but they all passed. My computer just kept giving me questions all the way to 265! I thought for sure that was a bad sign and sure enough two days later I found out I failed. I told myself I was going to study harder next time and rescheduled it for May 3. I literally studied all the time and I used Kaplan & Saunders comprehensive just like everyone says. This time I got 75 questions so I was feeling pretty good about myself........wrong! I had failed again. I knew I was going to give it one more shot at least. I just took my test June 21 out in Las Vegas and I felt as prepared as ever. I was feeling very confident about my answers until I got to about 170. All I could think was please don't give me the max amount of questions and thats exactly what I got. I left the test center more angry than ever before. This time I felt like I had done the worst of all 3 times & I just couldn't figure out why I couldn't pass the test. I had planned for the worst once again and I was sick to my stomach this morning when I logged onto pearsonvue to get my results. I couldn't believe it.......I PASSED!!!! Finally that over bearing weight is off of my chest. For anyone else who has had to repeat the test or has had 265 questions, it is possible. I had a lot of support from my friends and family and most importantly I had faith in God. Never underestimate the power of prayer. Good luck to all who will take the test & congratulations to those who have passed!

So, I just found out after two days and 265 questions, that I failed my nclex and I have truly never felt worse in my entire life. This is by far the lowest moment of my life. I had no idea there were so many priority questions on the test and I also think I just had an overall breakdown as soon as the computer hit 265, I sabbotaged myself. Does anyone out there have any advice for me at all...I'm so so sad!

Positive vibes. I took my first NCLEX on april 17th, receieved 220 questions, and failed. I retook the test this morning, and when it hit 200, i knew i was in for the long run again. To my dismay, I got 265 questions with 15 min left on my clock. I pray that I pass... and to all you as well!.
Sugar383,
I am sorry to hear that things did not go well for the NCLEX. What I suggest is that you take a breather from studying. At least a weak and get yourself together. It is not the end of the world. You will pass the next time. It was mentally exhausting taking the test, then waiting 2 days for the news.
I take my test tomorrow and I told myself that if I fail, I am going to take a minimum of 2 weeks off and then re-hit the books. Just immagine having to wait the entire weekend plus a day or two for results.
Regrouping is the only thing you can do.

congratulations!!
on a side note to all who get all questions: i know several people who took them all and passed. never give up hope until you have those results, then if you fail, study, prepare and try again!
