Graduate from nursing 2011 in Florida fail the test twice.  Cannot do the test again in florida because after three year you have to go  back to school. Can I do the NCLEX and any other stte. If yes can some tell me the process to doing so.

I recommend that you choose a state, go to the licensing website for that state, and review that BON's website for instructions. Some states, I'm sure, will not allow you to test. Others may require some sort of refresher course. And yes, you may actually find a state that will allow you to test once you've completed their application process. But I would definitely recommend finding and enrolling into a refresher course somewhere to improve your chances of success on the NCLEX should you locate the state that has what you seek.

If this is not a typo and you truly graduated in 2011 that's a LONG gap between finishing nursing school and taking the NCLEX. If there is a state that will first recognize and accept the school of nursing you attended for license eligibility and second allow you to test 13 years after graduation without at least a refresher course being required I'm thinking you might have a difficult time finding that state.

You can apply to any BON that has unlimited test like OHIO,NY and there are few states too. Once u passed the exam just apply endorsement. But of course u need to process some documents they need, states varies though. It doesn't matter if there is 11yrs. gap, pursue your dream to become an RN. Once u have your license and apply for a job they will consider you as new Grad.

If you gradauted in 2011 and have not been able to retest, your best bet is to start over again. Thirteen years is an extremely long period of time, and while every single one of us has lots of life stressors and events in our lives that occur, the gap is significant, and you would benefit from starting fresh.

I see that you finished in Florida, make sure you pick a school that is accredited, many states will not accept schools from FL .

Good luck.

Yes, you can apply to another state, but many still have time limits or require a refresher. I'm in California, where there aren't attempt limits, that's how I was able to take it and pass after 14 years. Check the Board of Nursing for the state you're interested in under "licensure by examination".  If it helps, I shared my story and how I did it here: abauthor.gumroad.com
