TIPS/Info for passing NCLEX

Published

Hi,

To everyone who passed recent nclex-rn, can you please share what helped you best (cd's, printed materials, etc..) ? Where to focus? and how did you study/prepare?

thanks... this will help a lot of us who are scheduled to take the exams soon

Yeah.. Vipra Med is pretty good.. I passed my LPN using them.. I'm on their RN program now. My friend passed her RN using them!!

Try vipramed, wishing you all the very best!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I used Saunders and signed up with Kaplan. For me, understanding the concepts was crucial. Best of luck! :wink2:

which nursing recruiting agency is that? thanks!! =)

is enclex is so turf i red indian books

have you taken it yet? how did you do?

its just sad that I didn't get to see what was suzanne's plan. I need help on passing my NCLEX. I'm using Saunder's and I took Kaplan before. What really works? thanks.

what really worked for me was taking a prep class. Not Kaplan since all they do is teach test strategies. I took a course that actually reviewed the material and did several tests on the material. I did the Martin review. Unfortunately its only offered in certain places. I had to go to Chicago to take it as it was the closest place for me to attend. Passed with 75 questions after that though.

Was this your first attempt and how long had you been out of school?

The Kaplan Study Tips really helped me a lot as a student nurse preparing for the NCLEX. They offer a few guides that lead you to the correct answer. And the rest is practice, practice, practice. It's definitely a must-read!

Also, I found that going through 100-200 questions a day helps with the pace and retention. Some may prefer a different number though...

Thanks annipuski! :)
