QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

It puts a sour taste in people's mouth regardless of the obvious difference between the 2020 riots and Jan.6. People saw the 2020 violence and democrats just looking by and/or even encouraging the rioters. They saw dems fundraise bail and drop charges for the rioters. While claiming "no one's above the law" except for the rioters of course. Jan. 6 offenders were given high sentences. Some of the highest for misdemeanors.
They charged Trump with something that no one has ever been charged for, Even after in federal law refused to charge him for the hush money, but the state did. The poor optics of the Marda L raid.
As true democrats, they pushed and exploited anything and everything and thought their hypocrisy wouldn't be noticed and relied on the shared Trump hatred to prevent anyone from calling them out. They sucefully created if you had a differnt opinion of Jan.6, you were a "insurrectionist trying to destroy our democracy".
For months they denied any cognitive change in Biden.
And now they can not deny the crisis they made for themselves.
If Trump win there is no one to blame but the democrats.
Yep. Democrats often overplay their hand. It's going to cost them bigley this time.
QuoteIt's gross, but not unexpected, that often when the court fractures along gender lines, as it has frequently this term, you will hear a whole lot of the jovial "Calm down, little missy" talk that you might recall from 1950s sitcoms.

It's going to take more than his followers for him to win.
You can "pin Trump" partially on those who've tried to cover-up for Biden, the complicit press, and for his followers in cult-like fashion denying what others like myself have been seeing and telling them about for the past couple of years.
And, sounds like Biden has no plans to step aside. That will be the biggest reason Trump may win.

Approval to a convicted felon, liar, and adulterer, that doesn't believe in democracy. Loyalty vs. cult. I'll ponder that for a second or two.
For weeks you've been chastising Democrats for ignoring Biden's cognitive abilities and now criticizing them for speaking up.
But yes, there are differences. Beerman at least have been posting about democrats concerns about Biden for months if not over a year now so it's not like people are suddenly being disloyal after one performance. It's gotten louder for sure. For some it was a final straw. But I admire a Democrat that speaks up and appears disloyal than one who supports Trump any day of the week.
Beerman said:That's because anyone with a legal understanding of the case realizes it's a farce.
And even most of the less informed hear that he paid someone off to keep quiet unflattering information go "so what? " as far as ethics go in politics, much worse things happen. Heck, just about every piece of legislation is chock full of bribes. That has much more effect on my life and is way more offensive than Trump's "felonies".
I didn't say "felonies". I said convicted felon. You can put it in quotes if you want but he's a convicted felon. If it was a farce, then he will win the appeal. He needs to get all those legal experts that have convinced you it's a farce to tell the courts what you know.
Maybe there are far worse people than Trump in politics and that have been Presidents. I know all politicians lie (although Trump takes it to a new level). I've been alive long enough to know that the US is not free of corruption and the rich, powerful and lobbyist own the government and that affects me more than Trump. In fact what happens in Washington really doesn't have much effect on me from a day to day basis, other than having the tax breaks of the rich and poor on my shoulders.
But I vote and have to decide who to vote for. At the end of the day, there's nothing worse than him not conceding the election. I'll never forgive him for that.
It's a bit baffling that a felony conviction in a legal court of law has been turned around to "it's a farce, it's a hit job, it's manufactured by the Democrats to keep Trump out of office and will cost them bigly".

If Trump is innocent then he will prevail in court. Mostly he seems intent upon delaying his assorted trials until after the election and convincinghis voterbase that he is a victim. Looks like that part is working well for him.
It puts a bad taste in people's mouths when a lame duck president invites thousands of people to march on the Capitol the day of the EC vote certification and lie about the election results. It puts a bad taste in people's mouths when that same corrupt fellow continues to lie about our elections and utter increasingly unacceptable thoughts about our constitution in the 4 years following his loss.
For 8 years the GOP and their voting base have lied to the American people about and normalized Trump's crazy ideas and mental health challenges. The GOP has been working to change laws to make it easier for them to cheat for Trump while they undermine the public's confidence in our elections, in our DOJ, in our judicial system, in the FBI or any institution which might hold them accountable.
If Trump wins we have no one to blame but the people who support and will vote for him.

I think it's terrible how democrats are turning on Biden. They spent months denying any cognitive decline in Biden. He was their tool to stop Trump. Now that they cant deny it any longer, they drop him. It's more important to stop Trump at all cost than vote for the person they claimed to be so great. Biden has no value to them anymore. Nah, they placed him there, they need to sleep in the bed they made. Something tells me they might be sleeping in several beds they have made for themselves.
There's a stark contrast between Biden and Trump supporters. The balance of loyalty is off. Probably because Trump supporters are in a "cult". I know, I know........
You're the one who supports the candidate favored by the nazis... that's on you. My grandma used to say that when you lie with dogs you get up with fleas. Those kind of character based proverbs aren't really meaningful to Trump supporters.

A felon is someone who has been convicted of felonies. Not sure what you're trying to say about that.
Trump wasn't my choice. I have no personal allegiance to him. But, I've read a lot about this case . Including from many legal experts. And, the "fraud" case. I've shared many here, and my own. No need to go over any of that again. But, yes they both are a farce, imo.
There is a large segment of the population that sees he has been treated below the law. That, along with them hiding Biden's deficits so long, is what is going to cost them.
He may very well win on appeal. Of course, it'll be after the election. So until then people, including our president, who probably have no understanding of the case can call him a convicted felon.

Yeah. I criticized dems for either ignoring or all out lying about Biden. This week I think many actually believed their media propaganda and "cheap fakes'.
Now that they have no viable use for Biden anymore, they are trying to get rid of him.
So yeah, I'll chastise the use and arguably the abuse of a vulnerable old man then throwing him in the garbage like a peice of trash.
Democracy? Is Democracy using a old man, twisting laws to "get Trump" by any means necessary? That's Democracy.
Biden was a tool to stop Trump. Nothing more but a whole lot less, he's no longer sharp so time to throw him away.
I never denied Tumps immoral actions but what I will say, he didn't use a vulnerable person, exploit them the throw them away. When no longer useful. Nor did the Republicans. That's the Democrat party.

Are you sure that Trump hasn't ever used a vulnerable person, exploited them and then thrown them away? I bet Jenna Ellis feels exploited. Trump is rather famous for using people and then throwing them under the bus. Does that misuse of people over and over again count or are you only speculating about elder abuse?
Remember how the democratic party used a serial liar and conman to bolster their majority in Congress until they just couldn't ignore his dishonesty anymore and were forced to "throw him away"? Oh wait, that wasn't democrats using that young lying conman in that way before kicking him to the curb.
