QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

Qualified immunity pertains to lawsuits and doesn't protect those who knowingly break the law.
The news article posted has nothing to do with qualified immunity or anything to do with Trump.
I think the member who posted it was trying to make an analogy to Trump. It should now be clear to all that it is a deeply flawed analogy.
Hasn't SCOTUS granted immunity to Trump for things the rest of us would be jailed?

Providing people any kind of perceived immunity from the consequences of breaking laws leads to abuse of power and corruption. Our legislators provided qualified immunity to police and police are deeply troubled by corruption in their ranks. Our SCOTUS declared that presidents are immune as long as they believe they are carrying out the duties of the office and Trump is abusing that notion right now.

Nope.
As I said, qualified immunity doesn't protect those who knowingly break the law. As you said, they were using and trafficking seized drugs. A cop would obviously know that is against the law. Doubtful they thought that it didn't matter if they got caught, they'd get off. They just didn't think they'd get caught.
Qualified immunity, legislature, SCOTUS, Trump, etc was not a factor.
I'm looking forward to where you move the goalposts next.

And your point?
toomuchbaloney said:LOL
I think the point of a CIA Field Manual for Sabotage seems straightforward. Which part is confusing?
The confusion arose when you posted the title, table of contents, and link without any context.
Particularly considering that this can't be a CIA manual, as the CIA wasn't established until 1947. It's an extremely outdated Office of Strategic Services (OSS) field manual published in 1944.

Sure.
Moving goal posts is something that Trump supporters are quite accepting of. I can't imagine why you would mention it in this context.

So what's your question again?

They do things with impunity because they've largely had immunity.
