QuoteThe abortion law builds on legislation passed in 2010 that represented a major shift for a traditionally Catholic country, transforming Spain into one of the most progressive countries in Europe on reproductive rights. Spain's constitutional court last week rejected a challenge by the right-wing Popular Party against allowing abortions in the first 14 weeks of pregnancy.
The debate will be heated in Spain, I imagine, as the conservative opposition pushes back. My daughter had horrible menstrual pain during her adolescence and young adulthood. I'm certain that she would have benefitted from that time.

If they want vetting, well then why haven't they been? Why do Democrat run sanctuary cities refuse to cooperate with ICE?
No one is advocating for no immigration.
I'll acknowledge that Republicans at times go overboard with the illegal immigration rhetoric. It's to score political points on that specific issue, however. Not to scapegoat. That should be obvious. Does the Trump administration sound like they're going to tolerate open border policies?
It's challenging to respond to multiple questions on a forum like this. It's almost like trying to answer a Gish gallop.
I am not sure which border barriers you are referring to. Do you mean the razor wire that was putting border agents safety at risk when they tried to rescue people who had become entrapped in it?
Why should cities have to spend their funds on duties that are the responsibility of the federal government? Many cities are lacking jail facilities and staff and yet Trump and Homan thinks they should use those resources for what ever they want?

So, you acknowledge she seems to be slurring her words in the video I linked to but you think the video is manipulated?
You do realize the link I provided was to the Harris YouTube channel? It seems odd they would manipulate it to make her appear drunk.

I've asked the same couple of questions a few different times.
Razor wire and river barriers. I haven't heard of the border patrol expressing concern for their safety in relation to the barriers.
Texas decided on their own to install the barriers. The Biden administration has been fighting Texas in court over them.
QuoteA federal appeals court has blocked the Biden administration from removing razor wire put up by Texas officials on the Mexico border.
The ruling from the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals marks the latest development in a multi-front legal feud over when federal authority supersedes state action in immigration enforcement.

QuoteBut does razor wire really keep migrants from entering the country illegally, and is it worth the cost?
Andrew Arthur, a law and policy expert at the Center for Immigration Studies, says the answer is an emphatic "Yes."
He pointed to data from U.S. Customs and Border Protection that shows illegal migrant encounters in Texas' five border sectors dropped by nearly two-thirds in January after the state finished placing wire.

Another take is that if they are seen at the razor wire area they are already in the US and border patrol has to cut down the wire to detain them.
Earlier this year:
QuoteThe United States Supreme Court has ruled that Border Patrol agents may resume cutting a razor wire fence that Texas installed on its border with Mexico to deter migrants and asylum seekers from entering the country.

You've not heard of hackers?
People are saying that she was tipsy. One person said she was "extremely drunk" others are saying Democrats put it up because they want her career over. Others are just saying exhaustion. The best response I heard was "y'all elected Trump so STFU about Harris". LOL
It was not a hacked video but a legit one she posted on X apparently. She had previously been victim of trolls deliberately slowing down a vid of hers and then accusing her of being drunk. It does seem odd this would be out there.
I haven't seen it myself.

My mistake. I thought I read that border patrol were getting injuring when trying to aid immigrants caught in the wire, but I cannot find anything to back that up.

Duh. I went back and
The writer, Paul Crider, does not work for the Democratic Parry. He's just a random guy with a random opinion. Meanwhile border crossing are at a 4 year low now. But Trump wants to piss off the president of Mexico who is doing a good job of policing HER southern border.
