I have worked with a few old school nurses who weren't their anymore and they were making BIG nursing mistakes, but they still have the licenses. Now as hard as it to get one do you feel that they should be forced into retirement and stripped of their licenses?
I'm not a nurse yet, still applying to NS, but I'm excited for the day when I can work with older nurses who have so much experience and don't take crap from people. I love wisdom that comes from experience, not just thinking you have wisdom because you read a textbook :) I plan to learn a lot from them

How could we give an adequate opinion without more details? Before I agree or disagree I need specifics..
"Forced into retirement and stripped of their licenses"
These are Bold statements.
So, did you get into that LVN program yet?

By the way, it will take a little more than that to ruffle my feathers. I was not raised to be thin skinned.

`snif, snif` Frankly, I smell an agenda. The OP also has a thread up asking if all mentally ill people should have a guardian. I'd like to know, to what purpose doth he stir the pot?
