I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL
Quote“At one point, Trump made a candid admission that was as jarring as it was ultimately unsurprising. ‘The question I get asked more than any other question: “If you had it to do again, would you have done it?”’Trump said of running for president. ‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’ … Reflecting on the meaning of having been president of the United States, his first impulse was not to mention public service, or what he felt he’d accomplished, only that it appeared to be a vehicle for fame, and that many experiences were only worth having if someone else envied them.”

Well, if he says the sky is blue, and I say the sky is blue, am I "echoing his claims"?
I've never said the Daniels incident didn't happen. Like you, I have no idea. And, whether it happened or not is irrelevant.
You're mischaracterizing what I've said about the fraud case. Not sure if that's purposeful or a inmocent lack of understanding on your part?

Nah. She didn't mischaracterize your stance, which essentially was that there were no victims because the banks got the money they were owed. That's also how I understood your remarks.
You are correct, whether or not there actually was sexual contact between Trump and Daniels is not relevant to the fraud. IMV what is relevant is why he was spending so much money keeping information away from the voters before the election and whether he broke laws in that influence campaign.
I sure wish we could at least listen to the court proceedings.
Adding another federal case to his list:
Arizona indicts 18 in case over 2020 election in Arizona, including Giuliani and Meadows
QuoteAn Arizona grand jury has indicted former President Donald Trump's chief of staff Mark Meadows, lawyer Rudy Giuliani and 16 others for their efforts to use so-called fake electors to try to overturn Trump's loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election...
...Trump, who is described in the indictment as an unindicted co-conspirator, has argued that he can't be prosecuted for acts he committed while serving as president. The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday will hear arguments on his bid to avoid federal prosecution over his efforts to reverse his loss.
Will be listening to the Supreme Court presidential immunity case today on MSNBC or CNN as will have great impact on this new charge.

Trump surrounds himself with "all the best" people.
Listening to Trump's legal team argue before the SCOTUS that Trump has immunity for anything he did while president, it's all "official" duties according to his team. They talked about if Trump calling a state official during an election asking them to find him 11k votes is the duty of a president or a duty of a presidential candidate.
Trump also has to deal with the reality that his Democratic political opponent is gaining support of all of the major labor unions. This interview and the ad that outlines why the NATBU won't support Trump is problematic for candidate Trump who claims to be what he isn't; a champion of the working class.
I found this interview.

As almost any political ad does, this is missing a lot of context.
And, except for you apparently, I believe I'm the only one here who cares at all about football.
