I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL
Quote“At one point, Trump made a candid admission that was as jarring as it was ultimately unsurprising. ‘The question I get asked more than any other question: “If you had it to do again, would you have done it?”’Trump said of running for president. ‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’ … Reflecting on the meaning of having been president of the United States, his first impulse was not to mention public service, or what he felt he’d accomplished, only that it appeared to be a vehicle for fame, and that many experiences were only worth having if someone else envied them.”

Hahaha
For people who tell lies about their opponents so often, Trump and his supporters sure are whiny about this kind of silly stuff. Did you really think that the New York Post opinion about that is important to most people? That's funny.
I'm not sure what you are whining about relative to Harris saying she found Trump's remarks offensive. It's not the first example of Trump saying that he does what he wants with women regardless of what they want. He is a rapist, after all. Saying the remarks are offensive isn't misrepresenting his statement. We can all listen to the disqualifying rhetoric.
I think Trump is old and mentally ill and cognitively impaired. He's tired. Unfit.

Colorado. No longer with as much concern about PA.
And anyway as mentioned before, conservatives may very well come out ahead over the long term with a Harris win as long as the country can survive her term. Especially the first two years.
Not too stressed about this election.
toomuchbaloney said:Yes, we know that people will complain that it's somehow inappropriate to criticize Trump for talking about violence and shootings in his rally appearances. Oh well. Trump's reckless and dark language will be criticized whether he likes it or not.
Oh no no. No complaints about critizing what Trump or anyone says. It's our first amendment.
We have free speech unless of course we want to talk about laptops and election fraud. Oh well.
There's a difference between "criticism " and misrepresentaion of words on purpose. Calling it "criticism " is just more deception.
Carry on......
Ah....those Madison Square Garden rally comments were so helpful for voters in PA: Pennsylvania's Latino eligible voter population has more than doubled since 2000 from 206,000 to 620,000 in 2023, according to U.S. Census Bureau figures---about 600,000 eligible to vote.
Harris leading Trump by 34 points among Latino voters in Pennsylvania: Survey
Quote
Vice President Harris leads former President Trump by 34 percentage points among Latino voters in the key swing state of Pennsylvania, a Univision and YouGov survey shows.
Sixty-four percent of registered Latino voters in the state said they were voting for Harris, compared to 30 percent who said they were voting for Trump.

Trump's remarks have to do with him insisting that he will do something for our to women whether or not they like it. Understandably, you would like that to apply to a very narrow interpretation of what you want Trump to intend to say.
Yes. Millions of Americans will vote for an unfit candidate because of their feelings which have been manipulated by a mentally ill liar and his media apologists. They simply believe things which have no basis in fact or evidence.
First. This wasn't directed to ypu.
Oh is that so? I'm a woman, are you telling me how to interpret Trump's language?
I don't recall telling other women anything.
What I can tell you is that Harris manipulating the words to somehow link it to abortion is full on BS. It doesn't make sense. He "will do it even if they don't like it"? So he will force an abortion even if they don't like it? What?
Get real.
It was a stupid misogynist comment. Should have left it at that. Now all that has resulted is another blatant misrepresentation of word which doesn't do much for trust now does it?
Do you think this is one of the reasons so many people believe Trump? Might have to do with the constant misrepentation? You think? Or is half the country stupid brainwashed nazis
"Media apologist"? Loool like who? CNN and MSNBC?

2nd, you could take a look at how this member that it was intended for is able to articulate his/her opinion and possible distain for Trump without having to subtly insult the member they are replying to. Like adding words like "funny".
Which makes their option much more worthy of consideration. You should take note.
Too bad half the country doesn't think he's "mentally unfit". Do you think that democrat narrative is going to dissuaded the votes tomorrow?
Don't worry tho, if Trump wins and becomes "unfit" his VP will be there to take on his presidential duties. Hopefully that make you feel better aboutyour Trump phobia.
Awaiting Lady Gaga, Oprah, other musical guests and our next President Kamala Harris. At least 1/2 million citizens here at Philadelphia Art Museum...Rocky's steps. PA's Democratic ground game visited my Delco home for 3rd time as we're Voting tomorrow, wanted to see if I needed a ride and had voting plan. No contact from Republicans beyond flyers for my Independent voting sons Will vote prior doing Aide Supervision visit in Philly.

What was the PA Latino vote in 2020? Didn't Biden win by a bigger margin?
