I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL
Quote“At one point, Trump made a candid admission that was as jarring as it was ultimately unsurprising. ‘The question I get asked more than any other question: “If you had it to do again, would you have done it?”’Trump said of running for president. ‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’ … Reflecting on the meaning of having been president of the United States, his first impulse was not to mention public service, or what he felt he’d accomplished, only that it appeared to be a vehicle for fame, and that many experiences were only worth having if someone else envied them.”

Digging out of that hole is frequently embarrassing. I find it much more helpful to put peoples' words together with what they do before I decide that something's deliberately "racist".
Biden probably really said and did those things. He then turned around and took his political leadership from a highly qualified bicultural man, appointed a highly qualified Black woman to the SJC and took another highly qualified bicultural woman to be his top assistant as VP. What did trump do?
I do not know if any "European settlers that are "indoctrinated into a tradition white supremacy at birth".
Is that what you think Biden was suffering from when he said racist remarks? That he has been "indoctrinated into white supremacy by birth"? Was his residual white supremacy present when he eulogised a former KKK member?
Trump hires people for their skill and competencies and perhaps because their friendsthen and fires them for poor performance. None of which have anything to do wirh their skin color or what genitalia they have.
I'm sure you give "old white men" other than Biden the same grace.

Well Trump did appoint Dr. Ben Carson, retired John Hopkins peds neurosurgeon as Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
QuoteIn December 2017, The Economist described the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), led by Ben Carson, as "directionless".[185] Most of the top HUD positions were unfilled and Carson's leadership was "inconspicuous and inscrutable".[185] Of the policies HUD was enacting, The Economist wrote, "it is hard not to conclude that the governing principle at HUD is to take whatever the Obama administration was doing, and do the opposite."[185] HUD scaled back the enforcement of fair housing laws, halted several fair housing investigations started by the Obama administration[186] and removed the words "inclusive" and "free from discrimination" from its mission statement.[186] HUD saw an exodus of career officials during Carson's tenure.[187]

Here's how Trump's Cabinet compares to Obama's
QuoteWhile there were seven women and 10 minorities in Obama's first 22-member Cabinet, Trump's 24-member advisory body has four women and four minorities. That's 32% female and 45% minorities for Obama, and 17% female and minorities for Trump.
According to an analysis from The New York Times, Trump's Cabinet contains more white men than that of the last six presidents.
What competency did a neurosurgeon have to run the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)? I could have seen Health and Human Services (HHS), other health/medical setting -- need business/management acumen for HHS.

Biden mused about how a black man could be so articulate and clean. Then likened it to a "story book" because story books are fantasy and hard to believe.
QuoteI mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy," Biden said. "I mean, that's a storybook, man."
I have no idea about the weird Harris smell you are speaking about.

Team Trump talked about the smell. Later Trump's team suggested that a Harris White House would smell like curry.
Maybe you can point at someone else's past to justify team Trump's current divisive and racist rhetoric. Let's see.

QuoteBut Freidman said that the 90 minutes against Harris left his declining powers harshly exposed.
'If a patient presented to me with the verbal incoherence, tangential thinking, and repetitive speech that Trump now regularly demonstrates, I would almost certainly refer them for a rigorous neuropsychiatric evaluation to rule out a cognitive illness,' he added.
Quote'Although Kamala Harris certainly exhibited some rigidity and repetition, her speech remained within the normal realm for politicians, who have a reputation for harping on their favorite talking points,' Friedman wrote in the Atlantic.
'By contrast, Donald Trump's expressions of those tendencies were alarming.
'He displayed some striking, if familiar, patterns that are commonly seen among people in cognitive decline.'
Friedman said he watched the debate in Philadelphia with an eye to the candidates' 'vocabulary, verbal and logical coherence, and ability to adapt to new topics'.
'Much of the time, following Trump's train of thought was difficult, if not impossible,' he wrote. 'Evading the question is an age-old debate-winning tactic. But Trump's response seems to go beyond evasion.
'It is both tangential, in that it is completely irrelevant to the question, and circumstantial, in that it is rambling and never gets to a point.'
The Atlantic carries Dr Friedman's essay on the subject but I don't have a subscription and can't share it.
We've had at least one forensic psychiatrist warning us about Trump's mental illness for a few years now. Dr Bandy Lee has a focus on mental illness and violence.

An activist made those comments. Not anyone on Trump's campaign. You know that. MTG called her out on it and said they were racist comments, and now they're fighting on Twitter.
Which one is "Team Trump"?

One person made a comment. Not "team Trump". An associate who recently attended 911 ceremonies with him. This is plane left wing propaganda. It also seems many Republicans have denounced this person and her comments. One being zMTG. Trump has yetvto comment.
Maybe the chosen source you read didn't mention these facts.
However you will say that left wing politics doesn't engage in propaganda 🙄

Unless there is evidence that these white men were hired because they were white men and a POC was denied for these positions because of their skin color and genitals it is irrelevant.
It's nice to suggest discrimination and racism without actual evidence and proof.

I'm sure we could go all day back and forth with tit for tat, but since @Crusades asked
For me it's one thing to say things in private conversation but it's another when grown professional adults act like Junior High School kids. (Yes, I'm talking about liberals too...tit for tat you know)
Trump's spokesperson said: "Make sure AF2 is deep cleaned because Lord only knows what @KamalaHarris and her team have done on there. The smell alone on that plane must be crazy.”
Also, it's pretty bad when Marjorie Taylor Greene jumps on it. Also Laura Boomer is an ally, not sure if she's on Trump's team.
Quote"This is appalling and extremely racist,” Greene posted on X in response to Loomer. "It does not represent who we are as Republicans or MAGA. This does not represent President Trump. This type of behavior should not be tolerated ever.”
Greene's outcry came in response to a post by Loomer that if Harris wins in November, "the White House will smell like curry & White House speeches will be facilitated via a call center and the American people will only be able to convey their feedback through a customer satisfaction survey at the end of the call that nobody will understand.”

It's what we do. On and on we point at someone else other than the original remark.
Remark: Trump is racists because.....
Response (not addressing the original remark but quoting it): Kind of reminds me when Biden did....
Or:
Remark: Biden lied about....
Response (not addressing the original remark but quoting it): But that's nothing compared to Trump's lies...
And so it goes. You can't remark that Trump's and team are not inclusive because of Biden. You can't complain that Biden is dishonest because Trump is dishonest. It's exhausting.
Donald Trump has three mental disorders as he becomes 'tottering, dementing old man'
Quote
Top psychologist John D. Gartner has suggested that Donald Trump suffers from three distinct mental disorders, which he believes are evident in the behavior of the Republican frontrunner. Gartner, a psychologist, psychotherapist, author, activist, and former assistant professor at Johns Hopkins University Medical, shared his insights ..
He posits that Trump is afflicted by "malignant narcissistic personality disorder, hyper manic temperament, and dementia." "His hyper-manic temperament is where his anger comes to the fore. The 40 tweets in one night.. even on holidays. His tweets are always filled with rage, constantly labeling people as losers. Trump is up at 3am on a holiday, ranting about how anyone who doesn't idolise him is a loser," Dr Gartner explained to The Mirror.
Dr Gartner attributes Trump's erratic behavior as evidence for his diagnosis. Trump's relentless posting of 'Truths' on his social media platforms, his disjointed speeches at campaign rallies, and the 77-year-old's inability to distinguish between individuals. The author of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump added: "[Trump's narcissism] consists of four components, narcissism, paranoia, psychopathy, sadism. These are people who live and breathe rage; if they're not being adored, they seek to destroy and inflict pain on anyone who won't worship them."...
So much of these mental health concerns displayed by him during Trump - Harris Presidential Debate.
Afterwards at the PA Convention center press spin room, Trump showed up, declaring his Best Debate Ever and that he had won Watching the debate, his anger dominated, lack of eye contact and pushing unfounded claim immigrants in one community stealing and eating cats- "he saw on TV". Fox commentators said Harris won.
So he continued doubling down on unverified cat eating, and geese comments about immigrants in Springfield Ohio in Tucsan Rally --while that community had to close city hall and elementary school due to bomb threat.

Despite the advertised theme of the event, Trump did not spend much of the roughly hour-and-a-half speech sharing details of his economic plans. Instead, the Republican candidate dedicated the bulk of his time pandering to his base with meandering anecdotes, insulting his opponents, and reiterating many of his baseless talking points, including claims he won the last election.
He also focused heavily on immigration, a typical target for his rallies, stoking fears about waves of criminals crossing into the country and again accusing Haitian immigrants of eating animals in Springfield, Ohio.
"They take in the geese ... and even walk off with their pets,” Trump said, repeating the unfounded and racist smear that has been challenged by the town's officials and has inflamed tensions and attacks against members of the Haitian community.
Roughly an hour into his remarks, Trump shared some of his plans for the economy, promising no taxes on social security benefits and no taxes on tips, and announcing for the first time that he also wants to end taxes on overtime.
