I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.

Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL

Worse, the people who once managed Trump's cognitive and emotional issues are gone, never to return. A second Trump White House will be staffed with the bottom of the barrel—the opportunists and hangers-on willing to work for a reprehensible man. His Oval Office will be empty of responsible and experienced public servants if the day comes when someone has to explain to him why war might be about to erupt on the Korean peninsula or why the Russian or Chinese nuclear forces have gone on alert, and he starts talking about frying sharks with boat batteries.
The 45th president is deeply unwell. It is long past time for Americans, including those in public life, to recognize his inability to serve as the 47th.
If you all truly believe that, you should be doing what you can to get Biden to not run.
You can defend him, throw knives at Trump, berate and shame Trump voters in a discussion forum, argue about who is more mentally unwell, etc. The bottom line however, for whatever reasons even if you don't agree, Biden is a very unpopular president. The polls suggest it's tight. Many people, including those who voted for Biden last time, consider it a toss-up on who is better or worse. It's all going to come down to turnout in a few swing states.
So, if the world is going to end with a Trump presidency (like it was supposed to the first time) you all need to be screaming to have Joe replaced with someone who has a better chance.

That rhetoric is then repeated over and over on other media as they report on this cult phenomenon. Some of that gets diluted now as more people hear the truths about Trump and less about Trump's Biden BS as we near the election.

That's not the point. There are independents and unsatisfied Biden voters and who aren't crazy about Harris who will take over at some point, who are willing to take a chance on Trump or just not vote. They could easily be swayed to vote for Newsome or the like over Trump.

Reasons many satisfied with Biden as candidate: stability, progress and better finances as my bank, annuity and stock statements show.
Have you compared your finances vs what inflation has been under Biden?
You should also consider most of Biden's trillion dollar spending bill hasn't been spent. If it does get spent, the "transitory inflation" will continue.
