I confess to back pedaling into Trump territory when I wanted to leave discussions about him in the garbage can. My thread on the read-only break room site has 9,600 replies so I thought I'd bring up a new one.
He's not going away.
Haberman's book is out based on interviews. I won't read it, but the excerpts are interesting. Especially what he says about McConnell, a description that's against the Terms of Service here, but I actually don't disagree with. LOL
Quote“At one point, Trump made a candid admission that was as jarring as it was ultimately unsurprising. ‘The question I get asked more than any other question: “If you had it to do again, would you have done it?”’Trump said of running for president. ‘The answer is, yeah, I think so. Because here’s the way I look at it. I have so many rich friends and nobody knows who they are.’ … Reflecting on the meaning of having been president of the United States, his first impulse was not to mention public service, or what he felt he’d accomplished, only that it appeared to be a vehicle for fame, and that many experiences were only worth having if someone else envied them.”

Well the demorats set the precedent didn't they? Don't worry, if they are not guilty then they won't be prosecuted..... right? Any court finding them guilty will be held as totally 100 percent not bias right?

NRSKaren, thank you. Nothing like a blast from the past!
I lived most of my childhood in eastern Massachusetts. A lot of local NYC news percolated up to us. I've been hearing about Trump off and on ever since. He made my permanent bowel book when he attacked the Central Park Five.
Trump's criminal history goes back to at least the sixties. If you want to know what he'll do with the country, just look at New York City's experience with him. Crime family, indeed.
It's nice that white collar criminals get some free time to tidy up their lives before they go to jail. How many of Trump's associates are now convicts or criminals?

Interesting that they're saying Trump will lose only because he's a convicted felon. Doesn't say much for Joe, does it?

In the MSNBC video Is that what was said or did he outline and talk about the crimes and convictions that swirl around Trump and his inner circle? I didn't hear the fellow say anything about Biden, for or against. Maybe you were referencing something specific.

The quote I was replying to. From the post, I thought it was from the articles, but perhaps ftom the member.

Felony convictions and close association with many other criminals is a good reason for someone to lose a bid for the presidency, except in the era of Trump.
